# Trick Wines for Brewers
## Core concept
This concept focuses on adding more content for SRM ships that utilize fermenting and harvesting ingredients from planets. It allows players to incorporate the fact that these ships hunt fauna and use their loot.
When a player drinks a Trick Wine, it will provide a small buff related to the drink's theme. However, when thrown, it will temporarily apply a debuff, the severity of which scales with the volume of the wine. Additionally, these wines should have the ability to affect most simple mobs to some extent, even if it's just causing damage.
Crafting these wines should require more than just a chem dispenser; it should involve at least one drink obtained through fermentation and one ingredient from a planet. These ingredients can be gathered through the garden system, by collecting fauna drops, or by harvesting resources from lavaland planets, such as cactus fruit.
This feature will also be introduced alongside the Barrel-class in a separate PR, which will provide brewers with all the necessary tools for their brewing endeavors.
### Breakaway Flasks
The primary containers used for trickwines are known as breakaway flasks. Unlike normal bottles, breakaway flasks are designed to splash their contents upon impact when thrown. The glass shatters violently upon hitting a target, causing bonus damage.
These flasks have a capacity of 50 units (50u) and can be sipped in 25u portions. This design forces users to make a choice between enjoying the small buff or debuff effect (or, in other words, deciding between a minor positive effect and a minor negative effect, or a larger version of one of the two).
Creating breakaway flasks requires 5 pieces of glass and 1 plasma sheet, making them more expensive than most other containers available.
### Illestren Bacteria
To create Trickwines, a special barrel/distiller is used, which contains bacteria sourced from the home planet of the SRM. Most SRM ships should have one round start but incase you loose it you can create a new one. The recipe for this bacteria can be found within the tribal crafting menu and requires the following materials: 8 units of wood, 5 units of metal, and 30 units of Illestren Bacteria.
Illestren Bacteria can be obtained from apples grown on the tree found aboard SRM ships. To nurture this tree, you can water or fertilize it. There is a specific list of chemicals that can be used to enhance the tree's health, and once its health level reaches 25, it will yield an apple. Each apple harvested from the tree contains 10 units of Illestren Bacteria, so you will need to gather 3 apples to obtain the required 30 units of bacteria for crafting the Barrel.

Alot of the effects of wines are pending some minor reworks. Forcewine for example is getting a complete overhall of its positive

### Ashwine
Ashwine is the primary trick wine produced by the SRM and plays a crucial role in their religious practices. When consumed, it has the following effects:
- **On drink:** Induces a mild hallucinogenic experience that boosts the consumer's mood.
- **On throw:** Creates a potent hallucinogenic effect, causing screen shake. When thrown at a simple mob, it should stun or paralyze them.
- **Crafting:** Mix 3 parts absinthe (moonflowers ferment into it), 1 part mushroom hallucinogen (easiest mushroom that contains it is the inocybe/mushroom cap), and 1 part ash.
### Icewine
Icwine offers a unique combination of effects:
- **On drink:** Acts as a mild downer, providing a small burn heal and cooling down the consumer.
- **On throw:** Significantly lowers the target's body temperature, similar to the effects of cryo blasts or ice landmines, resulting in slowing and freezing the target.
- **Crafting:** Combine 3 parts saké, 1 part ground polar bear fur (obtained by grinding polar bear hide for 20u), and 1 part frost oil (ground chilled peppers).
### Shockwine
Shockwine offers electrifying effects:
- **On drink:** An upper that boosts the consumer's running speed.
- **On throw:** Inflicts an electrification effect, similar to the Tesla arc. It might also arc to other nearby mobs, potentially including the thrower.
- **Crafting:** Mix 3 parts vodka, 1 part ground calcium (from grinding bones), and 1 part lemon juice.
### Prismwine
Prismwine grants unique defensive and offensive capabilities:
- **On drink:** Grants the consumer innate energy armor while within the system.
- **On throw:** Temporarily increases the target's vulnerability to energy and burn attacks.
- **Crafting:** Combine gin, plasma, and ground tinea luxor (obtained by grinding mushroom stems).
### Hearthwine
Hearthwine offers heat and destruction:
- **On drink:** Heats up the consumer and heals bleeding wounds.
- **On throw:** Sets targets on fire, similar to a Molotov, and creates a lasting fire effect on the impacted tile.
- **Crafting:** Mix hard cider, pyre elementum (ground fireblossoms), and welding fuel.
### Forcewine
Forcewine provides magical and defensive effects:
- **On drink:** Grants temporary antimagic protection to the consumer.
- **On throw:** Creates a temporary Forcewall effect at the thrown tile, the orientation of which is based on the thrower's action.
- **Crafting:** Combine tequila, Space Mountain Wind, and hollow water (extracted from geysers).
## Possible Future Wines
### Gravwine
- **On drink:** Grants zero-gravity movement (similar to a jetpack but slower).
- **On throw:** Creates a magnetic-like effect.
- **Crafting:** Combine wine, banana juice, and lavaland extract.
### Anchorwine
- **On drink:** Provides knock-down resistance.
- **On throw:** Creates a bola-like effect.
- **Crafting:** Mix vodka, ash fibers (ground ferns), and serotrotium (ground strange seeds).
### Bronzewine
- **On drink:** Grants innate melee armor while in the system.
- **On throw:** Reduces movement speed and forces a pair of bronze boots onto the target's feet (if the target is capable of wearing shoes) for the duration of the effect.
- **Crafting:** Combine chartreuse solution, milk, and iron.
### Toxwine
- **On drink:** Provides a small toxin heal and purges non-trickwine chemicals.
- **On throw:** Splashes a randomized poison on the target.
- **Crafting:** Mix Fernet, poison berry juice, and bungo juice.
### Batterwine
- **On drink:** Offers moderate brute heal and deals some stamina damage.
- **On throw:** Executes a high-damage attack with a high chance to damage limbs (broken or dislocated).
- **Crafting:** Combine ale, growth serum (ground fly amanita), and gold.
