It has a All Big Core CPU design, meaning all cores are high-performance cores, designed to deliver consistently strong performance without relying on smaller efficiency cores.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Built on TSMC's advanced N3P 3nm node, it delivers up to 32% higher single-core and 17% higher multi-core performance compared to the previous generation, while the ultra core achieves up to 55% lower power consumption at peak performance.</span><a href="https://www.mediatek.com/press-room"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span></a></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On benchmarks, the Dimensity 9500 crosses the 4 million mark on AnTuTu, highlighting its flagship-level performance. For AI workloads, the ninth-generation NPU 990, paired with the Generative AI Engine 2.0, delivers up to 2&times; higher compute power and introduces support for ultra-efficient BitNet 1.58-bit large model processing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The chip launched in devices including the</span><a href="https://www.oppo.com"> <span style="font-weight: 400;">OPPO Find X9 series</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and</span><a href="https://www.vivo.com"> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo X300</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in Q4 2025.</span></p>
<h2><strong>Beyond Smartphones: MediaTek's Four Growth Pillars</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>1. AI &amp; the Google TPU Partnership</strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">MediaTek is no longer just a </span><strong>chipset company</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> for smartphones. It is becoming a custom AI silicon partner for the world's largest technology companies. The most significant signal of this shift is its partnership with Google on next-generation Tensor Processing Units (TPUs).</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">MediaTek handles input/output module design, SerDes high-speed interfaces, and peripheral components that manage data transfer between the processor and external systems.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In fact, this chipset company has reportedly secured orders for both </span><a href="https://www.trendforce.com/news/2025/12/15/news-mediatek-reportedly-secures-google-v7e-v8e-tpu-orders-requests-7-fold-cowos-increase-from-tsmc"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Google's v7e and next-generation v8e TPUs</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, with v7e entering risk production and the company requesting a sevenfold increase in CoWoS wafer capacity from TSMC by 2027.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">CEO Rick Tsai has publicly </span><a href="https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/taiwans-mediatek-targets-billions-ai-accelerator-chip-revenue-by-2027-2025-10-31"><span style="font-weight: 400;">targeted $1 billion in cloud ASIC revenue by 2026</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, with several billion dollars projected by 2027.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Alongside Google, MediaTek co-designed the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with NVIDIA, which powers the DGX Spark desktop AI supercomputer, a collaboration announced at CES 2025 and unveiled at GTC 2025.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Genio Pro 5100, the flagship, is built on a 3nm process and is a serious piece of industrial hardware. It integrates an all-big-core octa-core CPU, an Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU delivering up to 3.1 TFLOPS, and an 8th-generation MediaTek NPU offering more than 50 TOPS of system-level AI acceleration. Furthermore, it supports up to 16 camera streams, three 4K displays, and 8K video encoding and decoding.</span></p>
