What even is an identity? How does this relate to the WebID. #### Tim - has been in the US discussing specs - With ESS you log in with one WebID. Say that doesn't support Solid. A different ID contains where all of your information is. Which one would you want to share? - Down in the rabbit hole, but clarifying it would make things clearer. - Jeff :: This has to do with how servers authorize and authenticate you. There should be redirects. - Aad :: Could sameas help? Tim :: Perhaps we'd need to treat that separately in SolidOS. Jeff :: If you arrive at a profile, it would be nice if there'd be a pointer to "the real" document where most information is, a sort of default. Aad :: Like a subproperty? Jeff/Tim :: Right now we are waiting for Inrupt to inform us. #### Chase - will work with Sharon on ??? #### Aad - Helping students on building a Web Shop. More closely related to SPARQL. It is very non-obvious on their systems what is going on and Aad believes we should lower the magic. Unclear for them what users know about e.g. a build-script ? ### Technical topics #### ??Difference WebID / Profile document - Extension of Datakitchen #### Use of GoodRelations + schema.org - think: bag of chips - Aad :: TypeAndQuantityNode is a tad strange in terms of the amount - Tim :: I have a units ontology - [Interpretation properties](https://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/InterpretationProperties.html) #### Forms first/rest - Jeff wonders if first/rest things have been merged - Tim :: it's on timbl.com but perhaps not merged yet - It will now read and write as expected (conversion from/to list object).
