## Modpack Installation Guide
1. Install a Minecraft Launcher from the MultiMC family and Java 8. [Prism Launcher](https://prismlauncher.org/) is recomended. If you already had it installed skip to step 6.
2. Set your desired Launcher UI language (this does not affect game language)
3. Configure Java installation. Select your java 8 installation from the list and configure the memory allocation settings. Recomended max memory allocation: 8GB 
4. Configure the appearance of the launcher to your desires 
5. Add the Microsoft/Mojang account associated with your Minecraft account.
Click `Accounts` in the top right corner and then click `Manage Accounts`.
From here you can you can add either type of account by clicking the respective buttons and following on screen instructions.
6. Installing the Modpack. Click `Add Instance` in the top left corner of the screen and select `Import` from the list of instance types. In URL field paste the URL obtained from the pinned message in #gaming. The `Name` field will be autopouplated, you are free to change it though. 
Click `OK` to proceed with the import.
7. The instance is now ready to play and can be launched by double clicking the icon. The first run will download the required game version, libraries, assets and modloader. 
8. The game will take quite a bit of time to launch, don't get scraed off by the warning or error messages in the log and just wait patiently for the game to load.

## Joining the server
1. Click `Multiplayer`
2. Click `Add server`
3. Choose an appropriate name and paste in the server IP together with the port number (IP and port TBD by sqlite)
4. Click `Done`
5. Double click the server in the list to join.
6. Have Fun!
