I finished reading two articles in detail:
1. [Transaction Fee Mechanism Design for the Ethereum Blockchain: An Economic Analysis of EIP-1559](https://arxiv.org/abs/2012.00854) written by [Tim Roughgarden](https://timroughgarden.org/).
2. [Understanding rollup economics from first principles](https://barnabe.substack.com/p/understanding-rollup-economics-from)

As I outlined in my last [Dev Update](https://hackmd.io/@EagleEdge/ryMs_ul4s), my immediate task is to finish cadCAD Bootcamp (Beginner Level). I have finished three sections and about to start section 4. Understanding cadCAD is critical to correctly simulate Ethereum economic models by updating parameters post-merge. This serves as the foundation for this specific problem I am trying to tackle.

## What is Next?
On the specific problem side, I will continue my class with cadCAD. Given the time required to finish these two courses (cadCAD beginner and masterclass), I will dedicate most of my time in the next two or three weeks to those classes.

In the meantime, I will continue reading articles, research papers and blog posts.
