This free event for all ages will showcase all the innovations that the mining, resources, defence and space sectors have to offer.

The event will also bring industry and political leaders together on Tuesday at the exciting Powering the Future Conference, which will examine the sector’s future directions.

As The Sunday Times reports today, the sector’s exciting potential has been acknowledged by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who is keen to accelerate the movement towards processing and value-adding critical minerals.
The resources industry has provided jobs for countless thousands of those willing to put in the work and enabled their families to enjoy a lifestyle that is the envy of many other nations.

He notes that many new lithium, nickel and cobalt mines will be needed by the end of the decade to meet global battery demand. WA will be a standout beneficiary from that development because of its mineral wealth.

Mr Albanese says the RTS is an advertisement for the jobs of the future, and it will show off WA not just to West Australians but to the world.

It is an advertisement about which WA can be very proud.
