Hi Lan,
Thanks for reaching out.
You are correct, the City is embarking on some very important work to have accurate and live Asset Management Plans for the $1billion worth of assets they are responsible for.
With my background in resources and specifically maintenance and asset management, this is of great interest for me and something I have been pushing since being elected in 2021.
As a Councillor I am unable to enter into operational activities the City completes. It is legislated in the Local Government Act and against the law for me to do so.
I wish I could help further, but I simply can't.
What I can suggest however, is to contact the City directly to discuss Asset Management and raise their awareness of your ability and skills to assist.

The AgriFutures AgXelerate Program is specifically designed to cultivate the networks and capabilities of agrifood tech and innovation startups, both domestically and internationally, with the aim of supporting the adoption of new technologies on farms or in the supply chain. However, the focus will be on technologies for the chicken meat, export fodder, ginger, honey bee and pollination, pasture seeds, rice, thoroughbred horses, kangaroo, buffalo, goat fibre, deer, tea tree oil, industrial hemp, insect, seaweed, sesame, and marron industries. We’re particularly interested in existing technologies from another industry or sector or early stage technologies that could address one or more of these industries priorities.
The program will have two distinct cohorts (running simultaneously), targeting startups at different stages of technological readiness:
Cohort one - Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 1-5
Cohort two - TRL 5-9.
This comprehensive approach seeks to ensure that startups at various stages of development can benefit from tailored support and guidance.
Participants in the AgXelerate Program will:
Be directly connected with producers through field trips and industry engagements, fostering invaluable connections and insights.
Participate in an online capacity building program, customised to meet the unique needs of each participating company, will equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
Receive a “golden ticket” for the evokeAG. Startup Alley in Perth 2024.
As an AgXelerate alumni participants will have access to exclusive industry showcases and events, maximising their exposure and facilitating future collaborations.
Upon completion of the program, participants will have the chance to submit proposals for funding opportunities of up to $25,000. This funding is intended to be used for on-farm trials, allowing startups to further validate and refine their innovations.
Applications are now open and will close on Monday, 24 July at 5.00pm AEST. More info and application link is available on the AgriFutures Australia website > AgXelerate Program | AgriFutures Australia
Noting that there are also additional elements to the Startup Program, including Startup Alley.

#### Sandy Angie, next Lord Mayor (?)
Tech Action Plan
On the agenda for the June 27th City of Perth Ordinary Council Meeting is the City of Perth Tech Action Plan.
The City of Perth’s Tech Action Plan started as a Notice of Motion I put forward in November 2021. My Notice of Motion called for the city to develop a Tech Action Plan and to investigate ways to attract and support local, interstate and overseas tech businesses. This was supported at the time by a majority of councillors.
As Perth Lord Mayor, I would make support for the local tech sector a key priority, if elected at the October 2023 election. Encouraging tech startups will help diversify Perth’s economy and help attract and retain young people - making our city a more desirable place to live, work and visit.
With 60% of the world’s population currently living within one hour of Perth’s time zone, it’s vital that we seize the opportunities afforded by our geography, the impending ECU City Campus, and the existing strategies of the State and Federal
Government to encourage tech startups and economic diversity.
While the City has provided support to Tech sector initiatives, other Australian cities are way ahead of the game. Sydney has a global reputation for innovation and
entrepreneurship and has the highest concentration of startups in Australia.
Melbourne is working hard to attract more startups. The City of Melbourne has seen
significant growth from 1,000 startups in 2016 to over 3,000 in 2023 - employing 52,000 people. The total Melbourne ecosystem valuation has jumped 43% in the past year to $36.9 million.
If Perth wants to retain local talent, and attract national and international innovators, it
must step up, collaborating with the State Government and the sector.
There is fierce international competition for the jobs and economic benefits that the
startup sector is creating. But, with the right leadership, the City of Perth can seize this moment.
_
I will be announcing a range of further commitments over the coming months. And I will be listening to you - our City’s residents, businesses and community groups. I look forward to hearing your ideas and feedback.
I will be back in touch with regular campaign updates. In the meantime, here is a link to my campaign website.
If you would like to hear more about my campaign platform, or have your own ideas about what the City could do better, I would be pleased to catchup. Please don’t hesitate to reach out via helloperth@sandyanghie.com
And don’t forget to enroll to vote to have your say on 21 October 2023. Because a vote for Sandy Anghie as Lord Mayor is a vote for a modern, progressive city, that truly grabs the opportunities in front of it.
The best way forward for Perth is together.

Only have account managers looking after enterprise clients.
In the office there are account managers for the WA State Government, BHP and the like, accounts worth several million and who have thousands of seats. But for 6 people, you'd have to buy directly through the website, or if you wanted a more personalised service, than through a partner.
[Jia K] will check again to see if we have an SME account manager assigned to us this week.
**To be posted Wed 26/4/23**
This time last week.
This time last week, "it was a beautiful, classy and gracious affair", Larrisa Gittos.
A small group of advocates for METAVERSE LAN to EX-NINJA LAN to EXTAG LAN came together for celebrations and connections.
A lot can change in the course of 4 months, but the most valuable lesson I would like to share here is the importance of "social capital".
Sarab Singh from Corporate Sherpas, whom I hold in high regard as one who understands human behaviour explained to me that "Social capital is the value derived from positive connections between people". That value translates into action. Although social capital is an intangible, the impact was deeply felt by me since December to now as a group friends and associates continued to reach out to provide support: coffee, lunch, dinner, advice, workshops, and even graphic design service.
They were all there until I found the perfect opportunity that aligned with my view on innovative tech solving an ongoing problem of our time, EXTAG. Hence, EXTAG Lan.
- This was held at PCP showcasing the Emerging Voice...
A special thanks to Nuriah, the artist, for sharing her powerful story with us.
And also thank you Christine T for graciously providing the beautiful gallery space for us to celebrate our time together.
Four weeks with EXTAG have reinforced my gut instinct on its versatility.
The group that keep on giving, gave me more ideas on the potential use for EXTAG, a tagging solution with enchanced the process of data collection for operational efficiency.
They said this solution is much needed with:
SES
Livestocks management
Building maintenance
Medical equioments and facilities
Aged Care Facility
NDIS Care
Product lifetime tracking
...and more...
Which begs the questions, "what system is in place at the moment?"

NOTE:
**QuantumTX 23
Confidentiality, IP and Privacy**
All meetings and discussions during the Program are conducted using the Chatham House Rule to encourage openness and sharing of information. The Chatham House Rule reads as follows: When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
For an explanation of the Rule see
https://www.chathamhouse.org/about/chatham-house-rule
Reason:
It allows people to speak as individuals, and to express views that may not be those of their organizations, and therefore it encourages free discussion. People usually feel more relaxed if they don’t have to worry about their reputation or the implications if they are publicly quoted.
