# Three-Phase Participation ## Phased Access: From Close Collaborators to Open Network Participation Three-Phase Participation means our strategic approach to fundraising and network bootstrapping, rolling out access to the cECSA token in three distinct phases: 1) Close Collaborator Round 2) Strategic Collaborator Round 3) Open network participation via the Bridge Launch, each designed for different participant profiles and project stages. This sequencing ensures that each “onion layer” strengthens—not destabilizes—the project’s semantic, financial, and protocol integrity. The launch of a foundational economic protocol and its associated token (cECSA) is a complex endeavor. The Three-Phase Participation model aims to ensure a stable, aligned, and progressively decentralized rollout, allowing different types of contributors to engage at appropriate stages into the emergence of the postcapitalist economic network. ### Phase 1: Close Collaborator Round (Early Alignment & Support) * Participants: Primarily individuals and groups who have been long-term supporters, early contributors to ECSA's research, or deeply aligned with its core vision. * Purpose: To secure initial seed capital from those who understand the deep R&D and the "why" behind ECSA. To reward and solidify relationships with foundational community members. * Terms: The most advantageous terms (e.g., highest discount or lowest valuation cap, as detailed in the specific SAFT for this round) in recognition of their early belief and risk-taking. * Status: Official activation 1.9.2025 ### Phase 2: Strategic Collaborator Round (Anchor Partners & Validation) * Participants: Targeted, value-aligned venture capital funds, DAOs, institutional partners, and strategic individuals who can provide not just capital, but also network access, expertise, credibility, and potential early ecosystem adoption. * Purpose: To secure significant funding for core development (Roadmap Phase 1), validate the approach with sophisticated investors, and build a strong syndicate of long-term partners. * Terms: Very favorable terms, reflecting early-stage risk with larger commits. * Status: Official activation after the Collaborator Round has been closed. ### Phase 3: Open Bridge Launch (Broader Access & Public Liquidity) * Participants: A wider audience of individuals, developers, and potential network users interested in acquiring ECSA tokens and participating in the creating the agency spread. * Purpose: To scale capital access for ongoing network development and ecosystem growth, establish public liquidity via the ECSA Network Liquidity Medium (NLM), and broaden community participation as the network (ECSA Drive & ESP) becomes operational. * Mechanism: This phase will be managed by the NLM's algorithmic mechanisms, involving initial controlled sales (e.g., whitelists) followed by more open access, with pricing determined by the NLM's dynamic issuance function. * Timing: Targeted after significant progress in deploying the ECSA Drive and its core uECSA utility (aligning with Roadmap Phase 2/3). ### Rationale for Phased Approach: This staged rollout allows us to: * Build a strong foundation with aligned early backers. * Secure strategic partnerships for long-term success. * Manage initial token distribution carefully. * Progressively decentralize participation as the technology matures. * Ensure that by the time of broader public access, the core network utility (uECSA) is demonstrable, providing a more fundamental basis for ECSA token value. ### Each phase is designed to contribute to the overall health and sustainable growth of the ECSA ecosystem, leading to a robust, network-native economy. --- Related context items: * [Engineered Economic Intervention](https://hackmd.io/@ECSA/S1CJVtO_le) * [ECSA Foundation](https://hackmd.io/@ECSA/B1Y0GF_uex) * [Structured Access via SAFT](https://hackmd.io/@ECSA/SJsCxK_uee) * Postcapitalist Onboarding Logic * [Use of Proceeds & Accountability](https://hackmd.io/@ECSA/SkmHIF_dge)
