# MetaCraft Whitepaper
## Introduction
MetaCraft is a decentralized customizable community driven Metaverse game engine, unlike Microsoft's Minecraft, MetaCraft is an open source,In addition to being able to mod a existing game, you can also develop your own games and share them to the community and earn token as rewards.
## Features
We highlighted some of the most important features that we distinguishes us from other solutions. More perks can be found in the table at the end of this section.
- Open Source
MetaCraft was assembled by many existing open source code, including web3.js, emscripten, unreal5, minetest, discord relay, etcs. Which means MetaCraft it self is also open source. You can modified the source code to get a perk which haven't listed in our roadmap.
- Modding API
MetaCraft Use the same Lua API to make mods for any Minecraft-based game. Publish your mods, and contribute to others’ mods.
- Webassembly supported
Thanks to webassembly, MetaCraft now can running directly in the web browser and other mobile device, even in your Nintedo Switch with a competitive FPS and Lag. And make it easier to interact with those existing Web3 infurastructure.
- Infinity World
We believe the true metaverse should be free as in freedom, there is no land nft limit by default, which means you can issue your own land assets and define their utility by your own.

## Multi-chain Metaverse
Unlike SandBox, DCL, and CV, MetaCraft is a multi-chain metaverse sandbox gaming platform. In addition to Ethereum and Polygon, MetaCraft will support BNB Chain, Solana, Flow, and more public chains in the future. That being stated, MetaCraft's territory is not only deployable on Ethereum, but it can also be installed on Solana and Flow. Users may also utilize the Metaverse with any wallet, allowing users on various chains to view, speak, and interact with one another. In this method, MetaCraft will reconnect users who have been separated by different chains. NFTs from any public chain can be imported into the MetaCraft Metaverse.
