![](https://i.imgur.com/Sp26BaY.png) # County Board Campaign Manifesto :::info This post is made by the D19 Vote Dribble campaign. ::: *WHY I'M RUNNING FOR COUNTY BOARD* > The reason why I have chosen to present myself as your candidate is because I want to prove to everyone in Mayflower that a county government CAN work. As County Board, not only will I show what Mayflower at it's best can be, but I will bring community, a term lost in our constant in-fighting at almost every level of government, back to the forefront. I will work to organize community events. I will focus on business by enforcing strict local regulations in order to promote growth. I will listen to everyone's concerns and ensure that their voice is clearly represented, as their representative. > > [name=Dribbleware] [color=#324155] ## BUSINESS IN NEW HAVEN COUNTY My business plan is clear cut. I want to bring it back. Back when FrancisMedvedeva was Governor, we saw a huge growth in business. Private Security companies, Taxi services, you name it. However, this business growth died with Francis' term. That is why I want to bring it back. Serving on the Property Distribution and Commerce team, I want to work with the team, Governor, and County Executive in a co-ordinated effort to bring back business as we knew it. My current plans for business reform consists of this. :::spoiler Business Plan 1. Begin assessing inactive businesses in Mayflower. 2. Start handing out bonds to people who wish to become a business. 3. Begin acquiring inactive businesses by buying them off and revive them, then privatize the businesses by selling back to interested players. 4. Use eminent domain to secure property to thriving businesses. 5. Repeat process. ::: ==This plan will allow for a newly formed thriving business economy.== ## BRINGING A COMMUNITY BACK TOGETHER For a while the values of 'community' and 'cooperation' have been lost to the deep infighting in Mayflower. It seems almost every other day, there's a dispute in Government that splits everyone. That is why I want to make it my priority to bring back the community. I will do this by hosting frequent community events that will allow people to bond and form connections, something that can be really sought after in today's society in Mayflower. As a candidate for the position of County Board. I truly believe that Local Government would fail in it's mission if it does not make an effort to bring back a united community. As County Board, I will ensure that numerous community events are hosted, such as business fairs, Law Enforcement parades, community gatherings, townhalls, and funding drives that will allow people to gather the basic essentials such as a car in Mayflower. By working together as a community, I truly believe great things can be accomplished. Afterall, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." ## REPRESENTING THE UNREPRESENTED In a community dominated by career politicians, career LEOs, career MNG, and so on, the most underrepresented part of the Mayflower population are the unemployed. That is why I want to make it my mission to not only represent the employed sectors of Mayflower, but also focus on representing the private sectors as well as the unemployed sector of Mayflower. I will do this by hosting frequent town halls in order to keep a up to date view on the sitaution in the County, as well as try and seek out employment for the unemployed. I will create an unemployed, seeking for work registry for people to register themselves with, so that they can be found a business to be employed in, such as a starting up business in Mayflower. This will allow for eager talent to be easily found in a single pool, and for those who are eager to work to be employed faster. As County Board, I will focus on creating opportunity above all, to ensure that we uphold a strong, united community. I want New Haven County to become a model today, for all future administrations to uphold. ## CONCLUSION Overall, I hope to have won your vote. My three point plan may not look like much, but I can promise to you that it will bring about drastic change for the better. With me as your County Board member, I will ensure that the standards of living in New Haven see a sharp increase.
