## Stardew Valley
### Wren Den Farm
Our story begins with young Wren. When her grandfather passed away he left a letter to her with specific instructions to not open it until the time was right. She worked tirelessly at her desk job which she loved. One day, though she realized how much of a chore her job had become. She realized that she felt as though she was losing herself and her goals and dreams. She thought back on when she was young and she would visit her grandfather on his farm and wished she could feel so carefree once again. The letter he left her sat in her desk, waiting until the moment she would need it and she decided that now was the time. She opened up the letter and found that it was the deed to the very farm she remembered. Without a moments hesitation she decided to leave her old 9-5 life in the city behind and try to find her true happiness elsewhere.
She raced to Stardew Valley with only the clothes on her back and no regrets weighing her down. Once she arrived in Pelican Town she became a little worried. This was a rather close-knit community and although she had been here as a child she was an adult now, would they accept her? To her relief Mayor Lewis and the local carpenter Robin met her at her farm and welcomed her with a warmth you couln't find back in the city. They offered her the option to rename the farm from her grandfather and after much consideration she chose "Wren Den Farm". Her Spring in Stardew Valley had begun.
Spring in Stardew Valley was slow at first. She needed to clear out the overgrown forest her forest farm had become, while also trying to make friends with the local folk. She found Linus to be most intruiging and he always enjoyed food gifts she had on her, but she was mildly disappointed to find out Robin was married. She found that Alex had been the easiest person to talk to aside from the Mayor and Robin. Penny and Sam had also warmed up to her quickly. She quickly started growing some crops for food and some extra money to help grow her farm and it seemed to be going well. Marnie, the local rancher found a cat wandering outside Wren Den Farm and brought it to Wren in hopes she would be able to take it in. One look at that beautiful kittens face and Wren was completely smitten. She decided to name her Ashe based on her ashy coat color. Spring was also time for the egg festival, Wren had barely beat Abigail in finding all the eggs necessary to win the hunt. She found it to be very fun and found that she had grown much closer to those at the festival because of her participation. Although, the next event did sting a little... She attended the flower dance with high hopes of dancing with someone she liked, but unfourtunately everyone (and I mean everyone) rejected her. She still enjoyed the dance despite her broken heart.
Spring faded into Summer on Wren Den farm and she tried her best to keep her head up. She had enough money and materials she invested in a silo and a coop. Once she was able she got herself her very first farm animal, a lovely white chicken named Snow. Soon after buying Snow she decided to add a brown chicken to the group and named it Cuckoo. Summer time also brought the Governer into Pelican town for the local Luau and in hoped of impressing him she added a cauliflour to the soup. Thankfully, he was very impressed and the Luau went fantastic! Wren found herself growing closer with a few unlikely people and found she couldn't tell her own feelings yet. She had developed feelings for a few of the single villagers, but couln't yet decide who she would try to pursue a long term relationship with. After making her way into the mines a while she decided to upgrade her axe and try to clean up some of the larhe logs and stumps that were littered around her farm as well as Cindersap Forest. To her surprise one log in particular opened up a pathway into a beautiful area that had such a serene air about it. She found a new pond and area that she would soon fall in love with, but never have enough time to visit. She had also managed to repair her first room in the local rundown community center also unlocking the minecarts! This made travelling to the mines and town just a little bit easier. After forgetting many birthdays, but trying her best to make everyone feel appreciated and remembered, the Dance of the Moonlit Jellies brought the serenity of Summer to a close.
Fall brought good fortune for our young Farmer as she got a barn built and a new addition to her little farm. She had also been hard at work trying to fill the community center bundles and rebuilding it. She managed to finish her second room, the crafts room! This fixed the bridge leading to the local quarry giving her acess to more stone without the dangers of going into the mines. She also picked up some fun recipes and was able to make a cheese press, a mayo machine, a recycling machine, sprinkers, and preserves jars! She found that with the addition of tappers she had quite a knack for artisan goods and started making jams, cheeses, and mayo. She recieved a keg from a bundle and was able to make some wine and she had become quite proud of the business she had created. She also saved up for an expansion for her coop so she could add a duck to her little farm. Eventually Quack Black joined the farm and she was able to start making duck mayo and collecting the lovely duck feathers that Quack Black dropped (even though he's only dropped one so far). Holding on to all her best items she prepared for the Stardew Valley fair with excitement. She also continued to develop her relationships with the townspeople to the best of her ability while taking care of her farm. The day of the fair she was excited and proud of everything she had brought. She set up her stand with her best items with pride. Sadly she was just a few points shy and lost to the local market owner, Pierre. Thus the grudge against Pierre began. Although his wife, Caroline, and daughter, Abigail, were people she was quite close with she had developed a deep hatred for the man who so smugly flaunted his win against young Wren's hard work. She vowed she would beat him the next year. The final week or so of Fall, Wren worked hard to prepare for the upcoming winter. She had to make sure her animals were happy during this time. The end of the season brought Spirits Eve and the haunted maze that thrilled Wren immensly. She truly was a fan of the creepies.
Winter brought the blossoming of many relationships for our young Farmer. No plants could grow in the harsh cold of Winter, so instead she focused on honing her fishing skill and wooing all the people in town who had already caught her eye and stolen her heart. It didn't take long before she gave her first bouquet and the thrill made her head spin. Alex had truly wooed her and she was thrilled to call him her boyfriend. Soon Shane followed suit and she had gained a second boyfriend. The Festival of Ice brought forth another friendly competition, this time it pitted Wren against her favorite local angler, Willy. Luckily for Wren she could shake off the embarrassment of losing to Pierre as she took first place in the ice fishing competition. Soon Haley had taken Wren's heart and they made their relationship official. To Wren's surprise the local artist who lived in Cindersap Forest, Leah, snuck her way into Wren's heart and soon they had made their relationship official as well. The Winter Night Mart brough good fortune to our aspiring angler as she went on a few deep sea dives and managed to catch several deep sea fish including a blobfish! Before the Feast of the Winter star our young heartbreaker also wooed and secured a relationship with Penny and Sam. Just as soon as Winter had decended it came to an end and our young farmer was redy to begin her second year in Pelican Town, finally feeling welcome and at home.
As we begin our journey in Year 2 here at Wren Den Farm we are left with many questions. Who will Win our young farmer's heart once and for all? Can she finish the Community Center? Will she reach the bottom of the mines she has avoided?
