# DocuSky Collaboration Platform Services and Terms of Condition

## I. DocuSky Mission Statement

<br/>

**With the ideals of 'openness', 'freedom' and 'autonomy', DocuSky Collaboration Platform aims to serve the scholarly research and provide digital technological collaboration for humanities research.**

- **Freedom to Develope and Embed**

- **User's Usage and Sharing**
The service provided by DocuSky platform can be used by autonomous individual agents. Users have complete rights over the knowledge, information and material produced with the platform's service. ## II. DocuSky Service

<br/>

- DocuSky Collaboration Platform provides bespoke services for scholarly research collaboration. The service is offered to academic institutions, societies and individuals.

- With regard to academic institutions, according to the scope defined by a mutual agreement, we will provide services such as an exclusive authorized edition of the platform, its construction and maintenance (including exclusive resources and tools interface), exclusive users group setting for the platform, hyperlinking platforms, and platform tutorials.

- With regard to individuals, according to the permission applied by the user, we will offer various services in the platform in free and open formats, such as limited cloud storage space, cloud database creation tools and cloud databases, various embedded digital research tools, public digital databases, various resources with usage or downloading permission.
- Currently this platform offers each account applicants a free cloud storage space of 500 MB. In the future, the cloud storage space will be operated with user charge. The implementation date will be announced in our platform.
- 使用者如申請帳號後，半年（六個月）未進行使用，系統將發送提醒信件，二次提醒後，使用者仍未有實際使用行為，DocuSky 將有權刪除使用者帳號。

## III. DocuSky Usage

<br/>

- 在符合歐盟 2016 年通過的「一般資料保護規則」(General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) 的規範下，本平台會使用 Cookie 來協助提供服務及分析流量。此外，也會將使用者的 IP 位址、使用者代理程式、效能和安全性指標一併提供給 DocuSky，以確保服務品質、產生使用統計資料，以及偵測並處理濫用情形。

- When you browse or use this platform, it is assumed that you have fully understood and accepted the terms of regulation, the related laws of the Republic of China, all international internet usage regulations and customs. And there should be no usage of this platform for illegal purposes.

- All the tools and resources provided by this platform are for public usage. All forms of materials (including but not limited to), unless indicated otherwise, are intellectual properties of National Taiwan University and of the authors of each web file. All the written texts, graphs, images, visuals, audios, music and sound files are protected by the Copyright Act of the Republic of China.

- Under circumstances of personal and non-commercial purposes, users can, following the regulations stipulated by Copyright Act, browse and use this platform, or download relevant materials from this platform when indicated clearly.

- Apart from the ones agreed to be publicly shared, in writing, after being uploaded to the platform or stored in a database, the materials uploaded by the user to DocuSky's cloud storage or databases (including but not limited to) are the intellectual properties of the person who uploads or creates the database and are protected by the Copyright Act of the Republic of China. The person who uploads files or creates a database has to guarantee not to infringe others' copyright and can authorize to publicize the materials.

- The copyright of all the integrated websites, embedded tools and digital databases via hyperlink or APP in this platform belongs to the original institutions who create or maintain the materials.

- Any individual or non-commercial institutions can freely integrate this platform with a hyperlink (https://docusky.org.tw). But when hyperlinking, the Logo of our platform should be included.
