I am borrowing the general idea from here:

Gitcoin Data Portal is an open source, serverless, and local-first open data platform aiming to make Gitcoin Data more accessible.
We achieve this by:
We are working to improve existing portal by introducing new datasets and adding new functionalities!
Visit the portal [x] or github [y] to learn more! The project is currently funded by [Gitcoin Citizens - Innovate LINK] program.
We aim to make the portal easy to use and reliable (keeps serving accurate data at all times). In addition to that we want to add more Gitcoin datasets like snapshot votes + novel ways of surfacing insights like Jupyter Notebooks so portal becomes one-stop shop for learning about current trends within Gitcoin community.
We will balance internal improvements like better contributor documentation + CI workflows with user-facing features like new datasets and novel ways in which users can access and interact with portal data.
Once we succeeded in our mission of serving Gitcoin datasets, we will leverage improved infrastructure to bring data coming from other grant platforms like Octant or Optimism inside the portal.
This will allow us to create interesting analytical pipelines capable of comparing trends in grants or track grantee profiles across multiple communities.
We will also work on new integrations so that portal can not only pull data from diverse datasets but also push to multiple destinations (e.g. by publishing EAS attestations).
We hope that portal will become valuable source of data and insights for grant and impact analysis where multiple analysts can collaborate by working on shared models and pipelines.
This is draft of updates with we can post at end of each month. We can shuffle specific items depending on what proves to be easy/natural/in-demand to do next
If you're using the portal and facing any issues or have feedback, reach out and we'll work on it!
