# IEEE Meeting 01/02/2021

## Plans from Senior Core in upcoming 2-3 months

- ITH in talks, haven't really given a thought to it properly
- Summer of Code
- SrCore has to think about the details yet.
- Cannot be scale of usual Summer of Code as JrCore does not have a proper summer break
- Enigma in talks.

### Domain Wise plans/updates

- **Web Dev:** Collaborative projects to make then ready for enigma
- **App Devs:** final cycle is left
- **AR:** Continuation of Projects
- **Cybersec:** Poornesh and Shubham figuring out some projects, continuning sessions for now
- **Design:** Created a community, Jrs are being given tasks and projects.
- **ML:** Kaggle competition, collaboratve projects, plan for inhouse competition, details yet to be finalised
- **Electronics:** JrCore have bee given projects and review are being taken. JrCore also asked to prep for robotics session.

- Still in design phase, backend is in progress.

- MVP done, frontend in progress
- Palette Prooster
- Podcast Portal
- Need discussion if it will proceed
- IEEE Website
- requires a reboot

Need to plan on what JrCore need to do in break.

## Upcoming Events

- TechLoop Alpha in progress, as DSW has asked for it
- Need to plan for upcoming events
- Need to think about what all we need to do for GraVITas, like ML workshop/NodeIO
- Podcasts:
- We have 4 podcasts ready and needs to be edited.
- Senior Core needs to discuss

### RnO

- Jr Core will work extensively after thier FATs on database and help in Podcast outreach
- They will do similar for TechLoop Alpha outreach

### TechLoop Externals

- July 2nd week, robotics session.
- Souris and Kartik have to get back on the updates on thier school status.
- Souris: School needs 10-12 days prep time, decided to do after SrCore FATs are done. Will get back in 1-2 days. *tentative 11th-13th July*
- Kartik: School will contact in 2 weeks time.
- Need to get some colleges and do a session in next two months if possible.

## IEEE Membership

- Need to take IEEE membership
- More members with membership, better connectivity with IEEE Madras.
- Opputunity to send representative from us, for IEEE events. IEEE eXtreme coming up, need an volunteer with membership for the same.
- Do use Sunandan's referral while taking membership
- To ping board member after getting memebership

## T-Shirts

- Please fill the form duly

## Board Elections

- Will be starting soon, will be a long procedure.
- Round 1 form must be filled by everyone irrespective of one opting to be in board or not.
- Board will share all the rules and regulations soon.
