In order to better develop this App and better understand potential (senior)users profile or custom, we launch this test to learn where we need to improve* Q1:Do you work out regularly? Q9:Do you like having community or share platform in this sport App? **Constructive suggestions for improvement** Q10:Do you have any suggests for our App? --- :::warning ## Testcard 1 ## Pre-testing **Name:** Junhua JIN **Age:** 54 **Occupation:** Professor **Context of the meeting:** On line meeting **Duration of the meeting:** *45 min* ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction**: You are going to see and use our App without explanation, and tell me what do you think it's for? **Observations:** Participant can generally undestand what's this App for without explanation. Participant is unaccustomed to the operating system. --- **2nd instruction:**: Try again this prototype with explanation You will be asked 10 questions above **Observations:** Participant shows great interest. It is way more easy to accept the frame of our prototyple for participant because we explained them first. ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - It's interesting and I like this encourage mechanism, because its not just for health, but also for fun. - I do like hanging around, this App might be useful when I am getting bored. - The interface is quite nice-looking. --- **Neutral feedback:** - It's cool but I'm not always addicted to smart phone. - The mission is based on big data of my interests? - Some rules are not clear enough like, my friends on there, I can share the distance of one mission with them or we just walk together? --- **Negative feedback:** - The purposiveness is not strong enough. - I don't see any difference with google map. Google map can also mark the site. - The back to homepage button is easy to have accidental touch. --- **Learning & insights:** From the feedback that put question to the mission, we might need to collect interests big data first, and distribute relative mission to user, it could be more stimulating. For avoid accidental touch, we will improve the homepage design. --- **Decisions & actions:** We will discuss the mission and challenge and improve the interface :::success ## Testcard 2 **Name:** Shubie **Age:** 63 **Occupation:** retired **Context of the meeting:** On line meeting and field test **Duration of the meeting:** *30 min* ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction**: You don't work out very often, and your health condition requires you to practice more. You are not always connected, but you do know use all these Apps in smart phone. **Observations:** Participant can generally undestand what's this App for without explanation. Also it seems like walking is not attractive enough for her. --- **2nd instruction:** (this is your second scenario): Try to use Dysthans and accept and accomplish one challenge. **Observations:** Participant shows interest, but It is not easy to get used to the Hans system, she always check the map. ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - It's interesting and cute. - With this App, I am willing to try to work out more often. - It's not because I don't like being connected, it's just because there's not so many App that seniors can use. Thanks for thinking of elder people. --- **Neutral feedback:** - Maybe it would work for me, but not too much - It is clear and simple to manipulate. - I don't know if the mission can really challenge me. --- **Negative feedback:** - The purposiveness is not strong enough. - I don't think the community is necessary because I don't have patience to social or build profile. - Actually I know my city pretty well, there's not so many place worthy of discovering. --- **Learning & insights:** From the feedback that put question to the mission, we might need to collect interests big data first, and distribute relative mission to user, it could be more stimulating. Trying to have more suitable community with more fun for seniors --- **Decisions & actions:** We will discuss the interface of community(mes amis) ## Testcard 3 **Name:** Yasmin **Age:** 72 **Occupation:** retired **Context of the meeting:** On line meeting and field test **Duration of the meeting:** *30 min* ## User scenarios testing **1st instruction**: You work out regularly,but recently, get bored of running or walking. It is the first time you see App like Dysthans,you don't like being connected, but wanna give it a try. **Observations:** Participant shows a great interest and expectation on the challenge part. --- **2nd instruction:** (this is your second scenario): You don't like being connected, but wanna give it a try. You accept one challenge, you get there and gain some scores, and share your achievement. **Observations:** It seems like participant are not satisfied of the strenth grade of walking and the challenge. ## Qualitative testing **Positive feedback:** - What I like the most is that we can share what we thought, what we saw during the trip. - This might give me a daily purpose to practice. - The interface is simple and clear. --- **Neutral feedback:** - The challenge may be too easy. - It is clear and simple to manipulate. - The way you encourage people is great, but the feeling of freshness wouldn't last longtime. --- **Negative feedback:** - The fact that Hans system is not really on time makes me check map often, that's annoying. - If there's a button with that I can open directly my camera, that would be better. - During the trip, if I use it when I walk a little too fast, the accidental touch happened. --- **Learning & insights:** From this feedback, we are thinking about how to keep changing or renewing challenges to make it always fresh for users. --- **Decisions & actions:** Maybe we could add some grade systems by differing users who practices a lot from who lacks exercises.
