# Spring holidays in Cyprus Can't decide whether to go skiing in the mountains or to sunbathe on a beach for your next vacation? Then come to Cyprus and do both! While this east mediterranean paradise often flies under the radar it is definitely worth your visit. #### Day One: Diving into the sun Fly into Larnaka or Paphos airport, pick up your rental car and drive to your accomodation. We suggest a hotel or appartment in Limasol, which gives you a good base to start your explorations. After completing your check-in you should treat yourself: Enjoy the warmth of the spring sun at Malinda beach and end the day in one of the restaurants at Limasol Marina next to the beach. #### Day Two: Diving into the snow Get up early for an adventurous trip into the Troodos Mountains. Take the road B8 going north towards Mount Olympos (1951m), the highest point on the island. About 10 km before reaching it be sure to stop at Pano Platres and take a short hike to Millomeris waterfall. Continue and follow the signs to Mount Olympos until you reach Cyprus Ski Club, where you can rent your ski gear. When to stop is up to you but remember your drive back to the beach takes about one hour :sunglasses: #### Day Three: Diving into history Start you day with a typical cypriot breakfast: goatcheese, cucumber, olives, yogurt with honey and a strong cypriot mocha. Drive west along the beautiful rocky coastline and about after half an hour you stop at the archaeological site of Kourion. This antique city was founded by greek settlers in the 13th century BC. You will especially be mesmerized by the sheer size and beauty of the greco roman theatre overlooking the sea. After having expanded your history knowledge get back on the road and drive further west to Petra tou Romiou, the rock of Aphrodite. According to mythology this is the birthplace of the goddess of love and where she first emerged from the sea. We highly recommend that you watch the sun set here. Choose the motorway as your way back. #### Day Four: Diving into the water In order to make the most of the rest of your stay, visit Governor's beach to soak in the mediterranean sun one final time. This hidden gem with ists stunning white rock formations and its clear water is ideal to relax and the perfect spot to add to your holiday photo album.
