We help DAOs accumulate small wins that lead to big results over time. The DAO Masons core team has been working together since 2021 at DAOhaus. We formed DAO Masons in January 2023. Our collective experiences at DAOhaus ran the full spectrum of DAO-related work. We were involved with software development, community outreach, support and education, fundraising, DAO operations, marketing and PR, writing and publishing, user documentation, technical documentation and DAO governance. During that time the DAOhaus team built a public good DAO creation platform that was used to form 3000+ DAOs across 5 chains (Arbitrum, Gnosis, Ethereum, Polygon, Celo). DAOhaus v3 SDK is open source and anyone can use it to build sophisticated DAO integrations. We have a lot of practice with DAOs and now we are bringing our services to Arbitrum. We offer software development, governance consultation & guidance in DAO formation. For now we're getting to know Arbitrum DAO and any DAOs that are planning to use Arbitrum. Check out our Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/daomasons --- A little bit about DAOhaus V3 DAOhaus is protocol designed to make starting a DAO as easy as possible. DAO Operators are able to summon a Moloch DAO and have a functioning DAO within minutes. In addition, V3 adds the ability to customize your DAO app with customized "shaman" or helper contracts that can extend functionality to fit the individual needs of your DAO. No DAOs are the same so every DAO should be able to customize their them to best suit their needs. There are a number of ways the protocol has improved with V3 but something that was long sought after by some DAOs, is the ability to turn on or off token transferablity. Previously DAOs that used the moloch contracts, as they are with DAOhaus, was 100% permissioned entry with nontransferable share tokens. This often kept DAOhaus DAOs very limited in how they could scale. For some, this is fine, as it is often easier to get work done in smaller groups. This type of DAO sometimes suffer from lack of liquidity though. Many people are familiar with "Compound" style governance, with widely distributed governance tokens. With the ability to turn on token transfer, DAOhaus DAOs stand on equal footing as these DAOs. A complete development kit and libraries to build custom front ends, were also included in the release of V3.
