# Web3 Berlin Hive Info Sheet
## *Timing:*
***Hive team booth and speaker check-in***
Check in to pick up booth team tickets etc will be possible from 10-10pm on June 9th. Team members can check in for or pick up items for each other, so we can arrange between ourselves if anyone needs covering off on this.
## Let's meet around 4pm!
Most of us will be arriving on the 9th. We will be checking into the Estrel hotel, and can then meetup in the afternoon to head downstairs to check in together and set up. Crimsonclad anticipates spending most of the evening in this area coordinating as the rally car arrives, as well as the photobooth.
***Hive team booth setup***
We need four people for light work (1-2 hours as per what the W3B have suggested, so who knows?) setup June 9th as we have moved to a much larger booth in the diamond sponsorship area. We will be having a photobooth delivered and set up by a delivery person, so work done by us will mostly be helping the W3B team get our backdrops etc. in place.
Here is the more finalized booth layout. We're basically the first thing everyone sees.

We are working on getting the rally car there. Because of damage and insurance issues at the last second, we're not able to bring the wrecked car- so we are wrapping the backup car and racing it over. We're waiting on confirmation from Croatia that it is done and will leave on time. This is why we didn't announce, but GP and Crim + the race team are doing everything possible to make this all appear seamless and perfect- fingers crossed!

## *Hive Representative Details*
We have an awesome group of speakers and booth staff! At all of our global events, we try to balance professionalism with your individual comfort and tastes. Representing the Hive "brand" is voluntary, so we work a little harder to make as cohesive and impressive a showing as our corporate counterparts. We're unique individuals with amazing personalities, but we're also highlighting what teamwork and community can do together.
***For attire:***
- Business casual please; no rips, tears, grubby sports shoes or sloppy outfits
- Dark slacks/skirts/trousers in greys, blacks, browns preferred
- Blazers, ties, blouses, button-downs, etc. recommended. If you have something that fits in black, white, grey, or shades of red that's very much preferred
- For anyone working in the booth areas, wearing your Hive tshirt with your slacks and blazer is a great option. We'll get our shirts on Monday, so that's a great option for anyone who will be spending time in the booth area that makes outfit planning easy

***Booth focus:***
Because of our big booth move to the larger floor area, we do not have a mockup for the new space, but most of the details from the smaller area will be reused. Finalized floor plan to be presented by BW3 June 4th. (see bad mockup below)

-tables with TVs and the HIVE rally car will be included in our space, as well as additional standups, and a large photo wall featuring the car as a backdrop for the photobooth
For booth staff:
- we'll all be handling Q&A on what Hive is, our experiences, and why Hive is a great place to build, whether that's as a community member or casual user, up to businesses and blockchain developers. What you know and what you do on Hive day to day is exactly the expertise you need to tell others about why Hive is a tool that should be added to their kits.
- Onboarding! If someone wants to make an account, we will have special one time use token codes to give out that will allow them to instantly create an account through a special portal. We will be able to help them complete the process via their phones on site, or they can do it later from home or a main device.
- The account creation codes will be pre-printed on labels with branding, light instructions and the portal web-domain.
- We will have an instant photo printer on site; people will be able to pose with the rally car, we will take a picture with our device, print out the photo immediately and attach the account label to the back of the photo with an explanation of what it is and how to get started. (photobooth will be set up by staff and prepared on the 9th, and then checked and refilled each morning on the 10/11th, so no work from our staff needed)
- main messaging we're testing out this time around is highlighting some of the lesser known facts about Hive:
- that it creates true individual ownership of wallet, data and voluntary social identity
- that it connects you to hundreds of dapps and projects securely and easily with one wallet address
- that transactions have NO fees and you do not need spend or lose any of your HIVE doing day to day social tasks, and that they're incredibly fast
- that community identity and social networks make our DHF DAO mechanism and governance accessible and accountable to all, with a note that we have proposals that are changing lives with health (ghana boreholes), education (hive goes to school), financial and business development initiatives (cuba, vz HBD acceptance in businesses.
- That Hive is the second largest PoS staking chain in the world in terms of number of staking wallets, along with info on our sustainable HBD interest and functionality.
- that proven scalability of layer one is based on security and flexibility, while layer two options support full freedom to create side chains, smart contracts, data storage or use turnkey purpose built infrastructure
- our decentralized, opensource core codebase which protects and empowers users and businesses who integrate Hive features into their day to day lives
- that development is easy as connection and building on Hive is done via the world's most common programming languages
