Traitors can pick employeers to choose from. Each employeer can cater to a specific playstyle and/or gimmick. They're not entierly flavor.

Traitors can pick one of the 5(4) employeers to work for. Some may be more open than others if the conditions are right.
Each employeer has a select arsenal to choose from. Some overlap just a tiny bit, but each are unique to their own playstyle.
Employees may need to work with others if they desire to get their hands on another employeers fancy equipment.
