# Overview ## Audio - 日本語 (2.0) - English (2.0) - Español (2.0) - 中文 (2.0) ## Subtitles - English Subtitles For 日本語 - English Subtitles For English - Español Subtítulos para Inglés ## Standerds Chapters Usually in this order but read below for more info. - Opening - Intermission - Closing - Antics - Preview - Credits # Info This is info about the above ### Audio Get rid of DTS tracks unless they have a different amount of channels. Make sure the Japanese track it the first on the list unless this anime is very well know for its EN audio or its anime for kids like Pokemon, and Ghost Stories. Most of the time its track 3 and 1 you want to keep. Be sure to put the audio tracks in the order above in [Audio](#Audio) unless the Chinese Track was the original then put that one first unless it has a Japanese track. Make sure to change the Channels if it has more or less then 2.0 and if it is mono channel then Type `(Mono)` instead of `(1.0)` ### Subtitle Keep track #2 and delete #1 since so far #1 doesn't work in the ripping process. I think track one is the English to english Subtitle track. Be sure to rename them like the example below `English Subtitles For 日本語` In this example above, the first language (English, which mean "English" in English) represents the language that the reader of the subtitles is reading, while the last language (日本語, which means "Japanese" in Japanese) is the language spoken in the original content, and the subtitles are being provided in English to help viewers understand the Japanese content. If the Subtitles are Japanese to Japanese then it would be `日本語 Subtitles for 日本語` or `English Subtitles for English` if both Languages were english instead of Japanese. If the audio tack says its in one language but is in another then you are going to need to head over to [Audio Track with wrong metadata](#Audio-Track-with-wrong-metadata) but first make sure to finish encoding the file first with the track name in the right language so you don't guess which is which. ### Chapters Be sure to rename Chapters since I don't like to have plain Chapter names like || |--| | Chapter 1 | | Chapter 2 | | Chapter 3 | use the Standards that are above in [Standards Chapters](#Standerds-Chapters) I don't recommend using Antics if the segment already has a name like for example Amagi Brilliant Park has two Segments Were they talk about Attendance and a segment about Attractions!! be sure to use those if possible. #### Chapters Definitions ##### Parts I personally use Parts as the names of the chapters that have plot in them but I still don't think it is the best. See example for more details. you also could call them `Plot (number)` or just `plot` for some reason. ##### Opening The Opening song segment you could also name this chapter Opening Music, or Opening Song, I don't recommend naming a chapter any of these (including Opening) if the chapter is the the regular anime with the Opening music in the background. I Personal delete these Chapters since they don't make sense to me but that is up to use. ##### Intermission usually a segment less then 10 secends were ads are in the broadcasting of the episode. Very rarely the intermission is replaced with antics instead. ##### Closing Closing, Closing Song, Closing Music, Ending, Ending Song, and Ending Music. You can use any of those if one it your preference over the other. If there isn't credits then you can also name this chapters Closing/Credits but I wouldn't. ##### Antics A segment were the characters do non-canon plot, Make jokes or do fake previews to the next episode. Two examples of Fake previews are when Charters make up plot of the next episode or when then don't have time or get distracted to explain the next episode ##### Preview The Preview to the next episode. Some times this segment is mixed with Antics. ##### Credits Usually a black screen with no music or sounds with a list of works or supporters. ##### Episode name some anime have a segment were the name of the episode don't get this confused with intermission. This usually happens right after the opening song and it has its own chapter usually about 1-3 seconds. Most anime's have it in the bottom right of the screen at the start of part 2. Don't recommend naming part 2 the name of the episode. ##### Example For this Example I'm using Amagi Brilliant Park Eposide 02 I would put the time stamps but I'm to lazy for now. Attendance and Attractions!! are two segments that are special to Amagi Brilliant Park since they both are Antics. even thought Attractions!! doesn't have any antics I treat it like one since it kinda feels like one. || |--| |Part 1| |Opening| |Part 2| |Intermission| |Part 3| |Attendance| |Closing| |Attractions!!| |Credits| There is one problem with this table and that is some times the workers who made the chapters forget the standard and forget to make a intermission chapter or sometimes move the chapter around like for this anime in the first episode on the blu-ray that I ripped in the first episode the intermission is missing even thought it about 3 seconds long and also the part 3 chapter is marked 4 seconds after then intermission was over. To fix this you are going to have to use another tool like MKVToolNix to add,Remove, and move chapters to standardize the chapters. ##### Tags I would prefer if there was more input fields like the examples i give below but as of now isn't so I make do with just with the Title field. Example `Series S##E##: Title` Amagi Brilliant Park EP03 is |field|input| |--|--| |Series| Amagi Brilliant Park| |Season number| 01| |Episode Number| 03| |Title| The Plan isn't Working!| and the output would be `Amagi Brilliant Park S01E03: The Plan isn't working!` ##### File Naming Work in progress `Series S##E##` # troubleshoot I wouldn't want to be here either if I was you but this shows that you really care. ### Audio Track with wrong metadata 1. Install [MKVToolNix](https://mkvtoolnix.download/downloads.html) 2. Open MKVToolNix and add the file by draging it from file explorer 3. In the bottom left of the window you will see a sub window that says "Tracks, chapters and tags:" 4. ### Subtitle track with wrong metadata
