# Influence Crew Market - Logistics This is the sixth in a series stepping through the crew market for [Influence](https://www.influenceth.io/), hoping to find some small nuggests of alpha to help you to make informed decisions when it comes to secondary purchases. For those not familiar, please reference the [Crew Member Jobs list on the official wiki here](https://wiki.influenceth.io/en/gameplay/crew-members). Check out other installments in this series [here.](https://hackmd.io/@Coldsnap) Usual caveat: figures and ETH prices in the article were accurate only at the time of writing, but likely to be rapidly outdated as the market moves and new crew are minted. ### Numbers The Logistics department is the largest department in the game. At 851 crew it's roughly twice the size of the mid-tier departments, and ~4-5 times the smallest. Logistics is similar to the Security department in that there are no Scientist Logistics roles at any tier. Pilots do not appear at T3 or T4 Logistics and Logistics Engineers are quite rare. The as-yet-unconfirmed bonuses for Logistics are mooted to be bonuses to storage and surface movement costs. This would have natural synergies both for mining and merchant crews, two of the most fundamental aspects of the game, which is why no doubt there are so many crew in this department. I would expect Logistics crew to be in heavy demand across Adalia, particularly those starting out on their first mining and/or market operations. Given that the floor price for Logistics roles is relatively attainable (for now), these crew are likely to be one of the first that F2P players pick up if they decide they like the game enough to invest in bonused crew. Tier distribution: |Tier| Job |Total | Specialists|Citizens| | ----------- | ----------- | -- | -- | -- | | T1 | Logistics Manager |81 | 18 | 63 T2 | Warehouse Manager |153 |34 |116 T3 | Logistics Specialist |314 | 65|249 T4 | Warehouse Worker |303 | 26|277 ### T1 - Logistics Manager |Tier | Class| Job | Total | Specialists|Citizens|Floor | ----------- | ----------- | -- | -- | -- |--|--| | T1 | Miner| Logistics Manager|41|10|31|0.32 T1 |Engineer |Logistics Manager |5|1|4|2 T1 |Merchant | Logistics Manager|32|7|25|0.9 T1 |Scientist | ||| T1 |Pilot |Logistics Manager|3||3|Never Not much alpha to be had at T1, I would say. Logistics Manager is one of the most numerous T1s - third after Chefs and Facilities Supervisors. As such the price discovery is more advanced. To me both Miner and Merchant / Logistics Managers have excellent thematic synergy and there are plenty of them to make them easy to pick up if needed. I would keep an eye out for the three Pilot / Logistics Managers (never been to market) and the five Engineer / Logistics Managers. One of the Engineers is for sale at 2 ETH. Not bad for a T1 1/5. And feels like decent synergy if your Engineering plan is to be ground-based. Pilot / Logistics Managers might be useful for a Merchant crew too, as I would expect Merchants to want a pilot on the team regardless of whether they were travelling or stationary, as Logistics boosts storage and ground travel time. ### T2 - Warehouse Manager |Tier |Class| Job | Total | Specialists|Citizens| Floor| | ----------- | ----------- | -- | -- | -- | -- |--| | T2 | Miner| Warehouse Manager |103|22|81|0.1 T2 |Engineer |Warehouse Manager|6|3|3|1| T2 |Merchant |Warehouse Manager |37|7|30|0.22 T2 |Scientist | ||||| T2 |Pilot | Warehouse Manager|7|2|5|Never| Warehouse Manager distribution is very similar to that of Logistics Manager, just with a massive boost in the number of Miner / Warehouse Managers here. As such, the same statements as T1 apply. Engineers and Pilots look like the collectible play here with Miners and Merchants being numerous enough to be able to acquire easily, for the same reasons as T1s. Note: The number of Specialists that exist for Engineer / Warehouse Managers is the same as the number of Citizens that exist - three. Very uncommon ratio, albeit small sample size. ### T3 - Logistics Specialist |Tier | Class| Job | Total | Specialists|Citizens|Floor| | ----------- | ----------- | -- | -- | -- |--|--| | T3 | Miner|Logistics Specialist |237|48|189|0.05 T3 |Engineer | |||| T3 |Merchant |Logistics Specialist |77|7|60|0.1 T3 |Scientist ||||| T3 | Pilot ||||| At 48 Specialists for the Logistics Specialist, these are the most common Specialists in the game. Logistics Specialists are only Miners and Merchants. No more Pilots or Engineers. Plenty of supply at low prices. ### T4 - Warehouse Worker |Tier |Class| Job | Total | Specialists|Citizens|Floor| | ----------- | ----------- | -- | -- | -- |--|--| | T4 | Miner|Warehouse Worker|261|22|239|0.039 T4 |Engineer| | ||| T4 |Merchant |Warehouse Worker|42|4|38|0.04 T4 |Scientist ||||| T4 |Pilot ||||| Warehouse Workers are actually less common than T3 Logistics Specialists. Doesn't stop them from being priced at almost rock-bottom however. We should see these two job roles fairly frequently across the belt. ### Summary Logistics crew, as mentioned, should be a relatively common sight across the system, and aside from the scarce Engineers, Pilots, and to a lesser extent Merchants, fairly easy to get a hold of. Doesn't seem like there is much more value to squeeze out of these right now. We'll need to wait until demand changes ahead of launch. Sounds boring, but maybe it suits thematically? I mean, Logistics Manager is not exactly the most glamourous of occupations. Do you think these people travelled across the vast emptiness space so that their descendants could finally achieve their epic generational dream of becoming middle managers for mining rigs? It's no Navigator, or Justice, or Reactor Engineer, is it?
