## Name: The Reorganized Cooperative of Hades (Parts of Pluto, Eris and its satellites, and the Kuiper Belt)
### History:
Typically known simply as the Hades Cooperative, this organization was born from political and societal differences between the Belt Colonial Union and its distant members.
Originally started as a secessionist movement on Pluto, the Belt Colonial Union originally clamped down on these sentiments, yet the idea spread at an extraordinary rate, which quickly prompted the union’s authorities to bring the movement’s leaders together to negotiate terms.
As per the Union’s charter, the respective organizations on the planetoids of Pluto and Eris would vote on the motion to secede, and the result was the respective peoples being split in twain, with one half remaining within the Union and the others going on to form the Hades Cooperative.
The name stems from the name of Pluto’s satellite, Charon - Which was named after the ferryman of Hades. Charon was additionally where the secessionist movement was first founded.
### Modern Day:
The Hades Cooperative maintains relatively amicable relations with the Orion Confederation, and warm relations with the Belt Colonial Union as a matter of necessity. As such, they have accepted an associate status within the Confederation, but are not a fully-fledged member out of choice.
Inner-Sol media often represents the Hades Cooperative in a negative light, brandishing them as revolutionaries, pirates, and terrorists. While it is true that the less-legal and more belligerent members of society often hide within its territory, the cooperative itself, at-least publicly, heavily condones such actions and maintains a pretense of neutrality in the solar system’s affairs.
