# Materials ## Material Synthesis Feature - This is extremely simple and doesn't need a complex draft - Polaris particle focus material synthesis - Insert material - Put gas around focus to desired range - Blast with emitter and particle accelerator to charge - Synthesis begins, materials ejected as formed - Better if we get unified material backend (see: Nebula) so this can all be chemical reactions but that's a long-ish time off. - If needed in the future we can have research-linked machinery and whatnot ## Nebula Materials (the actual refactor) - Main and RP need an unified backend for materials - SSmaterials stores /datum/material by key - Materials can be made in round - Everything is a material with a state of matter at room temperature and boiling/freezing points. - This includes chemicals - Haha oh boy chemists are going to HATE us. - First stage: Combine reagents with this - Second stage: Add fluids - Third stage: Melting points, boiling points, customizable walls, fire reactions, etc
