I came back after 4 months or so and started reading stuff, scrolling down twitter again. It seemed like the noise was gone. I liked it. as I was scrolling down I’ve seen “(3,3)” everywhere (like some sort of an infection spreading on CT). Knowing a little about game theory I made the connection that it was something about best outcome. Ignored it a couple of days but seeing it on some of the guys I thrust as well peaked my interest then I realised it was related to olympus dao, which I knew from a thread of Fiskantes that I read right before I left and bookmarked. Re-read the thread, jumped in discord. After reading a bunch I had the same goosebumps that I had when I joined synthtetix discord for the first time and that’s why I stayed.

Heard Taiki talking about OHM briefly on youtube. Then saw Drake on Digital give an in depth review on OHM on his YouTube channel. Got interested & did my own research. Went through all the docs and checked out the Ohmie community on discord. Then went straight to 3,3(edited)

Couldn’t sleep, was scrolling through a telegram with 200 people or so… My ohmie Guat sent me the discord link… Ended up making some of my best circle of friends later on from this experience… Answered for the initial launch list with 2 mins to go may have been the final person to respond

heard about olympus from tetranode and after I looked ya’ll up I was blown away by the extent of the culture and involvement of the community. I didn’t even know what ohm actually did but was impressed with the alphaOHM involvement and wanted to figure out where it came from. Now I’m 3,3 for life

Me and my irl friend just finished smoking a fat doober, when we found out about something called defi. After hours of researching/blazing we eventually came across olympusdao… We definitely were smooth brain omg it’s a ponzi 100k apy no way? Yet soon after we found ourselves investing in ohm and learning how to start staking. The rest is history and we’re both so glad that we did!

I missed every single good thing that happened in DeFi because I couldn’t channel my inner ape. I was on a rollercoaster of the bell curve flip flopping back and forth. I began seeing 3,3 on my Twitter timeline and it piqued my curiosity. I opened up MetaMask moved some ETH to DAI. I fired up the Olympus DAO and the rest is history.

Listened to my only crypto podcast ever with papa fisk on uncommon core. Seemed smart so I followed him on Twitter. He was gonna give alpha for hitting 10k followers. The alpha was of course Olympus. He said you would get an allocation if you joined the discord before march 10. I smashed the link and was the first person to join after. Was thinking, holy shit, im gonna make it…then found out the cutoff was a week before. Shattered. Saw it pump hard and was so salty I left the discord.

Bought some other crap that then got rekt and I thought fk it, im gonna sell em and buy ohm. Got in at 1100 and just saw it crash lmao. (3,3)'d, just left it and didn’t look at it. Saw it 2 months later and it had doubled in ohm. Goddamn. Sold some more shit and bought most of my ohm at 240

From alpha to omega:

I was looking up an IRL friend on twitter wondering if he was active in CT, whome just happened to have a similar handle to a certain alien from Alchemist… @thegostep… and who doesn’t want to follow an alien avatar on twitter right?

A few weeks later He made a tweet about seeking the philospher stone I aped in and that was my my first connection to the power of DAO communities and culture as a moat , my alpha experience. I hung around, dreamed ideas there in public, and saw that manifest as I put in what I could, tutorial here and question answered there. One brick by brick that project was reinforced. Was there to see Fiskantes as he and others signed on to the multisig. Who was this joker and these others leaders? I had to find out - So I dove back into crypto twitter only to be hit wave after wave by the 3,3 of his following. So Like many the joker was my through-line to Olympus. From Alpha to Omega bridged by serendipity and vibes.

So I was seeing this 3,3 and chatter about olympus all over - on CT, Chico crypto. Also saw that there was an IDO for this.

Joined the discord 1 day late, and got salty, ignored it totally after that cuz…salty seeing people make 500k just like that lol.

Saw the apy 2 weeks later and was like holy shit, this has to be a ponzi right?.. commence the due diligence. Everything checked out. And I loved the idea of what this project meant for the entire crypto space: An actual decentralized currency.

Decided that I should put some skin into this. And now 100+ days later, I’m sitting comfy despite the price swings thanks to 3,3, and so are my irl friends, as well as mother hahhaa.

I saw 3,3 all over twitter. One of my favorite crypto people i follow, Korpi, made a thread explaining it. took me a while to wrap my head around it and buy 1.03 ohm for $785 (15% of my paltry net worth) back at the start of April. Afterwards I spent time in the discord and listening to Zeus After Dark explain things, plus the grand ambition of the protocol has made me like OHM more than anything else. Nothing else in crypto excites me as much as the thought of what OHM’s potential is.

First saw OHM through sushi Onsen listing. Thought it was a stablecoin. Didn’t learn much about it but later realized it was trading at $2k.

Saw the (3,3) thing on Twitter and got curious. My research brought my go Olympus discord server. And the onboarding process was fucking amazing. I was sold.

Bought my 1st half ohm. Sadly I sold it on the dip to some lucky guy. Bought back soon after it recovered and staked ever since.

Joined the DAO and I was also amazed by the level of organization and productivity there. OHM is also backed by its people, not just by DAI and FRAX and liquidity revenue.
