# Proposal for Nounish Cup #002

## Overview:
The Nounish Cup #002, hosted by Chompix Gaming, will feature a round system and attract a mix of amateur and semi-pro Dota 2 players. We are requesting $500 USDC in funding to support the prize pool, with Chompix Gaming covering all logistics through Nouns GG Esports flow funding.

## Tournament Details:
- **Dates:** February 1-2, 2025
- **8 teams invited via [nouns.gg/rounds](https://nouns.gg/rounds)**
- **Format:** Double Elimination
- **Game Format:** All games are Bo1 except Grand Final Bo3
- **Streaming Platform:**
- Players can stream their own game perspectives.
- Only the Upper Round Final will be streamed on Day 1.
- Day 2 will feature an official broadcast via lobby on the ChompixGaming Twitch channel.

## How will this proliferate the brand?
The Nounish Cup #002 provides a prime opportunity to introduce Dota 2 players and esports fans to the Nouns ecosystem. At first, esports players and fans are more likely to buy a Lil Noun than a full Noun, so we will prominently feature the "What is a Lil Noun?" video during breaks and mention it in-game. This will ensure continuous exposure to the Nouns brand throughout the tournament.

## Fantasy League & USDC Payments:
Fans can participate by selecting their fantasy teams, making the event more engaging for viewers. To encourage viewers to interact with the Nouns ecosystem, we will offer USDC payments to Fantasy League participants, helping onboard new users and encouraging them to set up wallets.

## Expected Reach:
Based on Nounish Cup #001, we project an average reach of 70 viewers across the streamers registered within our brand. We are not setting a Dota 2 delay or exclusivity broadcast, which makes tracking the exact numbers challenging. However, we focus on ensuring the Nouns brand is visible both in-game and on-stream, maximizing the audience's exposure to Nouns, even if the viewership numbers are not fully trackable.

## Marketing Strategy:
- Social media campaigns across Twitter, Instagram, and Discord to build hype.
- The "What is a Lil Noun?" video will be shown during event breaks and mentioned in-game to further promote Lil Nouns.
- Live coverage of the event across different Twitch/YouTube channels, driving engagement with viewers and expanding the Lil Nouns brand.
