# Ingram Google Cloud Platform Build

## Overview

You will set up a new Google Cloud user and create a Billing Account. We will set up the projects, add you as owner/admin and then you will need to assign the Billing Account to these 3 projects.

## Steps

1. Visit here to get started: [https://cloud.google.com/](https://cloud.google.com/)

2. Start account setup with the ***Get started for free*** button, where you can choose the ***Start with a full account*** button
- this option will give you the most free credits


3. Walk through the setup, you add billing info in this flow and that will create a Billing Account

4. At this point provide me with the email address you used to set up your account.

5. I will add you add Admin/Owners of the 3 projects we are setting up in Google Cloud

6. Then you will go into the Billing section and assign your new BIlling Account to the 3 projects I set up.

- Navigate to the Billing section from the left hand nav


- Billing section looks like this:

- Use the Billing Account drop down in the top of the left hand nav, select Manage Billing Account


- Page will look like this:

- Click the My Projects tab, and you should see the 3 projects I have created.


- In the right hand menu, select 'Change billing' and in this screen you should be able to switch that to your Billing Account
