### Problem statement

In the Eastern Hemisphere, there's a language barrier for local communities to get educated about Catalyst since English is not commonly spoken in the region

help write a joined Fund 7 proposal for teaching in another language to the eastern community

Dani - The Eastern Hemisphere speaks different languages, ~~and not many people speak English like in the west or Europe~~. To bring more people into Cardano ecosystem, we also need to bring the non-english speaker.

We need to include non-english speakers to further onboard the diversed community into the ecosystem.

**Dani version 2** - The Eastern Hemisphere speaks various languages and to bring more East Asians into Project Catalyst we need to develop a system that caters to their local language.

Yan - Language barrier is a huge issue for local communities to understand Project Catalyst which in turn effects proposal turnout.

Andy - As English is not the main spoken language, majority of people in Eastern Hemisphere tend to shy away from any materials written or delivered in English.
Community Advisors (CAs) are essential in the working of Project Catalyst, and delivering materials in local languages will open up doors for community to fill in.

Syarbel - As Project Catalyst need a lot of Community Advisors and veteran Community Advisor in the future, we can attract people with non-english spoken with diversified knowledge but have same interest about Cardano Ecosystem to learn how to become CA or vCA.

Yan - Eastern Catalyst School that provides onboarding education in local languages using the proven teaching methods of Catalyst School.

Dani - Eastern Catalyst School will be a place for Eastern Hemisphere community to learn and onboard people to Project Catalyst, and it's tailored to different languages.

Syarbel - Eastern Catalyst School can be decentralize one-stop education in local languages for new Eastern Hemisphere members.
