# RULES MarioKart 8 Deluxe | Free for all | Nintendo

## 1) Getting started
- You need an account on Nintendo to participate in this tournament.

- You link the account to your kayzr profile. You can always link or change your name here: [add/change my gamertags.](https://app.kayzr.com/profile/settings/linkedservices) Make sure this name is correct so your opponent knows who he/she is playing against.

## 2) Game Rules

### 2.1) FORMAT

**Free-for-all**
- Brackets will be made based on lobbysize. In this case there will be 12 people/bracket.
- You need to check in before every round. This means when everyone entered the score, you will need to check in again.

### 2.2) TOURNAMENT RULES
- You add each other as friends (The player at the top is responsable for that, but help each other out)
- You go to 'online play' in the menu and select "1P". (Unless you participate with 2 players on 1 switch!)
- You play 150cc, items on & all cars/wheels/gliders are allowed.


In the 'online play menu' you go to 'friends'.


Then you create a 'room'. You will see you list of friends, make sure all Kayzr participants are in your bracket.


When your friends choose online play as well, they'll see a 'flag' next to your name. These people can now join by clicking 'A'.

**Cup Selection**
This changes weekly.
**Mushroom cup**
**Flower cup**

After every race you enter the score. First gets 12 points (when there are 12 players), last gets 1. And everything in between.

## 3) Play your match

Play your 8 races with the same people.

## 4) Score reporting

- After your game you report the correct winner by clicking/selecting his name in your 'Match' on Kayzr.

- Disclaimer: cheating/ragequitting/lying will result in reports & possible bans when discovered by a moderator.

- Are there problems? Submit your problem to our mods who will grant the win to the correct player based on the correct 'evidence'. Click the headset/support icon to submit your problem.

- For this game we need a screenshot/evidence to determine the winner if scores are not shared truthfully.
