# RULES CS:GO 1v1 (needs update)

## 1) Getting started
- You need an account on **Steam** and have **Counter Strike: Global Offensive** installed to participate in this tournament.

- You need [THESE](https://cdn.kayzr.com/KayzrConfigs.zip) config files to be able to start a game.

- The maps that are eligeble to play can be found [HERE](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=761122346).

- You link the account to your kayzr profile. You can always link or change your name here: [add/change my gamertags.](https://app.kayzr.com/profile/settings/linkedservices) Make sure this name is correct so your opponent knows who he/she is playing against.

## 2) Game Rules

### 2.1) FORMAT

League format | Best of 1 | 1v1

- All matches will be played in a B01 (MR9 with MR3 Overtime) fashion.

- The maps that will be played have to be chosen by both teams according to our ban format.

B01: Team Blue ban / Team Red ban / Team Blue ban / Team Red ban / Last map is decider.

### 2.2) TOURNAMENT RULES

- The games will be played by hosting your own server.

Make sure everyone is in the party before hosting your own server.
When everyone has said they are ready you type the following in the CS:GO console:
For PISTOL maps: **exec kayzr1v1hg**
For RIFLE maps: **exec kayzr1v1aim**
For AWP maps: **exec kayzr1v1awp**

- The qualified maps to play are: [HERE](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=761122346).

- Before the game starts you have to make sure you are recording your P.O.V. by typing **record nameofdemo** in your console.

We require everyone to record a P.O.V. demo for the integrity of our tournament.

- We forbid the use of any scripts other than the ones below.

These scripts are allowed to be used: buy-, jumpthrow-, toggle- and demoscripts.

- Pauses are not allowed.

- There are no substitutes allowed during the tournament.

Only checked in players are able to play for their team.

### 2.3) EXAMPLE B03 MATCH PROCESS.

- Team Blue bans map: aim_awp_row
- Team Red bans map: aim_redline
- Team Blue picks map: aim_map
- Team Red picks map: aim_pistol_csgo
- Decider map is: AWP India

## 3) Play your match

- Go to your opponent and press 'Join game' button:

- When everyone has joined the lobby, the party leader will start the chosen map by typing the following command (depending on what map) in their console:

## 4) Score reporting
- After your game you report the correct winner by clicking/selecting their name in your 'Match' on Kayzr.

Disclaimer: cheating/ragequitting/lying will result in reports & possible bans when discovered by a moderator.
