# RULES Legends of Runeterra DE | 1v1 | PC (Update nodig)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
## 1) Getting started
- You need an account for Legends of Runeterra to participate in this tournament. This is your League Client account.
- You link the account to your kayzr profile. You can always link or change your name here: [add/change my gamertags.](https://app.kayzr.com/profile/settings/linkedservices) Make sure this name is correct so your opponent knows who he/she is playing against.

## 2) Game Rules
### 2.1) FORMAT
*Double elimination | 16 players/bracket | Conquest*
- The upper brackets will be played in a BO3 fashion, lower bracket will be BO1 to end with the grand finals which will be a BO5 with winners advantage of 1 game.
- Kayzr wants to make this a 'new player friendly' format while we wait for an official rule-set by Riot Games, which means this tournament will require 3 decks to participate (Read further rules for details on decks).
- In every match except the grand finals one of the decks will be banned. This also to ensure a timely end of the tournament. Feedback on these rules can be given to the Community Managers, Moderators by dropping your remarks in the tournament chat.
### 2.2) TOURNAMENT RULES
- The games will be played following the Conquest format.
- In this format, winning with a deck means that this deck can not be used anymore in this round. When on the losing side of the round, you can choose to keep playing with your current class, or switch to another class you picked.
- Three (3) decks per Player:
Before each Bo3 match, players ban 1 deck from their opponent.
- To win a match, a player must win two games, each with an unbanned deck.
Players must submit three (3) Legends of Runeterra decks (each, a “Deck”) with a minimum of forty (40) cards per Deck. In addition, each Deck must be comprised of two (2) regional card sets (each, a “Region”).
A Region cannot be used in more than one Deck.
- Before the match starts, both players share the full decklist of the decks they are going to play. (share deckcodes or make screenshots via: https://lor.mobalytics.gg/deck-builder/new)
- After decksharing, each player is allowed to ban one deck from the opponent. (Except in the grand finals.)
It is forbidden to change any deck as soon as the picks are locked in.
- Spectators are only allowed when both players allow it.
- If your enemy is already on your friendslist, do not remove him, change decks, and re-add him.
### 2.3) EXAMPLE BO3 MATCH PROCESS.
- Player Blue picks their 3 decks (Zed/Hecarim, Ashe/Braum/Elise, Fiora)
- Player Blue waits until Player Red also confirms their picks (or the other way around).
- Each player now sees the picks of the other player. Player Red decides to ban the Fiora deck.
- After Player Blue also banned a deck both players can see the result.
- Player Blue has to play with the decks of Zed/Hecarim and Ashe/Braum/Elise (With the Fiora
deck banned).
