# RULES CS:GO | 5v5 | Single elimination ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ## 1) Getting started - You need an account on **Steam** and have **Counter Strike: Global Offensive** installed to participate in this tournament. - You link the account to your kayzr profile. You can always link or change your name here: [add/change my gamertags.](https://app.kayzr.com/profile/settings/linkedservices) Make sure this name is correct so your opponent knows who he/she is playing against. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ## 2) Game Rules ### 2.1) FORMAT - **Single elimination | 32 teams/bracket | 5v5** - How much ranking do I get for the Monthly Finals? Win: +3 Loss: +1 - All matches will be played in a BO1 (MR15 with MR3 10k Overtime) fashion, including the Grand Finals. - The map that will be played has to be chosen by both teams by banning out maps until one map is left. ### 2.2) TOURNAMENT RULES - The games will be played on the Kayzr CS:GO servers. You will be able to join the server by clicking the 'Join match' button in the match chat. If you are not able to join the server you make a ticket about the problem. A moderator will help you out accordingly. - The qualified maps to play are: Inferno, Dust II, Train, Nuke, Vertigo, Overpass, Mirage - Before the game starts you have to make sure you are recording your P.O.V. by typing **record nameofdemo** in your console. We require everyone to record a P.O.V. demo for the integrity of our tournament. - A knife round will determine what side each team will start on. - We forbid the use of any scripts other than the ones below. These scripts are allowed to be used: buy-, jumpthrow-, toggle- and demoscripts. - !pause is available for pauses. - There are no substitutes allowed during the tournament. Only checked in players are able to play for their team. ### 2.3) EXAMPLE MATCH PROCESS. - Team Blue bans map: Inferno - Team Red bans map: Dust II - Team Blue bans map: Train - Team Red bans map: Nuke - Team Blue bans map: Vertigo - Team Red bans map: Overpass - The map that will be played is: Mirage ------------------------------------------------------------- ## 3) Play your match **Press the 'connect here' button in the match chat** ![](https://i.imgur.com/nLWcew0.png) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ## 4) Score reporting - After your game you report the correct winner by clicking/selecting their name in your 'Match' on Kayzr. Disclaimer: cheating/ragequitting/lying will result in reports & possible bans when discovered by a moderator. - Are there problems?
