# RULES League of Legends | 1v1

## 1) Getting started
- You need a League of Legends account to participate in this tournament.

- You link the account to your Kayzr profile. You can always link or change your name here: [add/change my gamertags.](https://app.kayzr.com/profile/settings/linkedservices) Make sure this name is correct so your opponent knows who he/she is playing against.

## 2) Game Rules

### 2.1) FORMAT

**Double elimination | 16 teams/bracket**

- When people want to play a tournament, brackets get made based on your ranking.

- All upper bracket matches are a BO3
- All lower bracket matches are a BO1
- The Grand Final is a BO5 with winners advantage.

### 2.2) TOURNAMENT RULES

- All rounds will be played on the Howling Abbys map.
- In a 1v1 tournament, the draft type will be Tournament Pick. All pick rules from tournament mode will be applicable to the match. Once the match has started both teams agree on the selected gamemode.
- All games must be played on the live patch with all champions enabled.
- All summoner spells, runes and masteries are allowed.
- The upper team will always have side selection, unless in the finals, where it is ABA, with the upper team picking first.
- After the game, players are allowed to pick the same champion again, unless it is banned for the next game.
- Match pauses are limited to 5 minutes with a maximum of 1 pause.

**Failing to comply with the rules above will result in a disqualification from this tournament.**

**Win conditions**
- Destroying the enemy nexus
- A surrender by the enemy team

## 4) Score reporting

- After your game you report the correct winner by clicking/selecting his name in your 'Match' on Kayzr.

- Disclaimer: cheating/ragequitting/lying will result in reports & possible bans when discovered by a moderator.

- Are there problems? Submit your problem to our mods who will grant the win to the correct player based on the correct 'evidence'. Click the headset/support icon to submit your problem.

- For this game we need a screenshot/evidence to determine the winner if scores are not shared truthfully.
