# Future Technology No More: Implanted Microchips on Humans

What if you don't need to go back to your house or get locked-out when you forgot your keys? What if you don't have to always bring your wallet? Or your IDs and credit cards? What if you don't need a monthly check-up to the clinic but has a daily report on your health? Well, you can all do that with a small chip that can be installed under your skin.

As the technology's convenience and it's complexity escalates, many potential future evolution of lifestyle will definitely occur. The Human Michrochip technology is one of the technologies that has a great potential for the world to use and solve different problems experienced in the society. According to an AI expert Ahmed Banfa, a human microchip implant is typically an identifying integrated circuit device or RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification) transponder encased in silicate glass and implanted in the body of a human being. He added that this type of subdermal implant usually contains a unique ID number that can be linked to information contained in an external database, such as personal identification, law enforcement, medical history, medications, allergies, and contact information.

In Europe specifically in Sweden, thousands has been injected with microchip in their hands. It is implanted through a syringe piercing under the skin then releasing the microchip positioning the implant in the open wound. The microchip is about the size of a rice grain and typically implanted on hands or shoulder that is designed to make the user's daily routine faster and make their lives more convenient like accessing their home, travelling, paying as easy as swiping their hand against the digital scanner.

The human microchip technology also has been expanding to medical, digital indentification, safety and security. Many research has been conducted and indicates the benefits of this technology. For example, people with dementia could possibly benefit the most from an implanted device that contained their medical records and easily identified with their information in their hands. Furthermore, in Ohio Cincinnati, CityWatcher, Inc. became the first company in the world to implant microchips into their employees as part of their safety and security system. Over 100 participants also paid a company to get microchip implants with EU Digital COVID Certificate (EUDCC) when Sweden started to require a vaccination passport.

However, there were many concerns about this tech. Many advocates raised their hands to disagree. They self-published a report that humans injected with the michrochip will develop cancerous tumors at the injection site based on the study from 1996 to 2006 which found out that dogs with indentification chip soon developed the cancerous tumor.Although the foreign-body tumorigenesis in lab animals and implantation in humans has been publicly refuted as erroneous and misleading. They also argued that it will be a high risk of stolen identity and privacy security but the designer assures that it will be very difficult for hackers to hack the device because it will be encrypted and masked to secure the information.

This technology is promising and have great potential to be bigger and will solve many society's problems. It will have a great impact to the world with great execution. It will be a much more easier and convenient doing our daily routines. It will enhance many solutions that can be more effective on dealing with the problem. As a matter of fact, Mike Miller, chief executive of the World Olympians Association suggested the use of such implants in athletes in an attempt to reduce problems in sports due to recreational drug use. It can also expand to GPS-enabled chip or tracking implant to monitor the activities of people infected with HIV that aimed at reducing their chances of infecting other people. All in all, the potential of this technology has the sky as the limit. There are maybe too many moving parts to deal with this technology but it works and as it progresses, I know it will be a huge turn for a new lifestyle for everybody and for the world.
