# Lab 5 ## Spatial analysis - Analyze data based on the geographical locations. - Must contain a map - Statements MUST be supported by the map or reference. - Tip for writing a good report - Think about who will need this kind of report. (Government, company, the folks) Target one of them when writing the report. - Be specific - Give figures and tables numbers - Use quantified result! e.g. "A is close to B" -> A is only n meter away from B. ## Source of data https://maps.indiana.edu/layerGallery.html ## Functions in ArcGIS pro - Buffer - Intersect - Selected by ___ - Join: add table to shp/feature - Spatial join: add table to shp/feature based on the location - Google “arcgis pro buffer” to get the tutorial - You must include all map elements in your map. - You must have a table to list information of all the data.
