# Lotus # Abstract Lotus is a functional data processing web application monitoring potential spam-like behaviour on Twitter. Lotus provides a simplistc representation of the data to our end users, allowing them to filter, index and visualise. Lotus was designed with the end user in mind and thus, running on consumer grade hardware is encouraged (for local spinups) ## Usage Visit lotusdatabase.com and login with the free - access account. ``` Username: trial-user Password: trial ``` This will provide only read access to all of the data, more permissions can be provided when requested. The flow of work can be tried out and any feedback is welcome. ## Installation To install the system yourself please follow the steps outlined in our user-manual for either a local or hosted instance. All deployment, benchmarks and installations are conducted on the following specs. ``` Cores -> 4 RAM -> 16gb ``` Bosting a throughput of 125 records processed p/sec or 7500 p/minute on the aforementioned specs.
