# Schema for 3GPP TS 28.554
## Radio resource utilization
### DL Total PRB Usage
1. This measurement provides the total usage (**in percentage**) of physical resource blocks (PRBs) on the downlink.
2. A single **integer value** from **0 to 100**.
3. **RRU.PrbTotDl**, which indicates the DL PRB Usage for all traffic.
&space;=&space;\left\lfloor\frac{M&space;1(T)}{P(T)}&space;*&space;100&space;\mid\right.)
${M 1}$=A count of full physical resource blocks and all PRBs used for DL traffic transmission.
${P}$= Is total number of PRBs available for DL traffic transmission.
******
### DL total available PRB
1. This measurement provides the total number of physical resource blocks (PRBs) in average available downlink.
2. Total availible count of PRBs available for DL traffic transmission during time period *T*.
3. The **single integer** value.**RRU.PrbAvailDl**.
****
## RRC connection establishment related measurements
### Attempted RRC connection establishments
1. This measurement provides the number of **RRC connection establishment attempts** for each establishment cause.
2. Each measurement is an **integer value**.
3. **RRC.ConnEstabAtt**.Cause where Cause identifies the establishment cause.
4. Receipt of an RRCSetupRequest message by the gNB from the UE. Each RRCSetupRequest message received is added to the relevant per establishment cause measurement.
5. RRCSetupRequests that are received while a setup procedure is already ongoing for this UE are excluded.
6. RRCSetupRequests that are received during AMF Overload action are effectively to be excluded from the measurement.
7. The sum of all supported per cause measurement values shall be equal the total number of RRCSetupRequest.

# Use case for 5G Energy Efficiency (EE) KPI
1. Assessment of Energy Efficiency in network is very **important for operators** willing to control their OPEX and, in particular, their network energy OPEX.

EE=Energy Efficiency
MN=Mobile
DV=Date Volumes
EC=Energy Consumption
where  is expressed in **bit/J**.

*CS/PS*=Circuit Switched/Packet Switched
1. includes data volumes for DL and UL.
2. **BH** supervision and control data volumes are not considered (in order to include only the payload).
3. **Circuit switched**" means here all voice services, interactive services and video services managed by theMNOs, including CS voice, VoLTE and real-time video services delivered through dedicated bearers

• EC is Energy Consumption.
• BS refers to the Base Stations in the MN under measurement.
• BH is the backhauling providing connection to the BSs in the MN under measurement (including transport).
• SI is the site infrastructure (Rectifier, battery losses, climate equipment, TMA, tower illumination, etc.).
• RC is the control node(s), including all infrastructure of the RC site.
• CC is the Central Cloud, LC the Local Cloud entities, as defined in figure 1.
• *i* is an index spanning over the number of sites.
• *j* an index spanning over the number of BH equipment connected to the i sites.
• *k* is the index spanning over the number of BSs in the i-th site.
• *l* is the index spanning over the control nodes of the MN.
• *m* is the number of small cells, local cells in the MN.
