# ParkWARE: Fast Start Booklet ![](https://i.imgur.com/1OCxogE.png) Welcome to ParkWARE! This document will outline the history and any administration or game mechanics questions you may have. ## The Nation of Bluewinter #### Heritage and History The Nation of Bluewinter was founded in 1605 when settlers from Britain discovered the islands when sailing around the world looking for Terra Australis (now known as Australia). Settlers from Ireland & Britain first inhabited the island in 1658 to use it as farmland. Since then, Bluewinter has become an independent diplomatic nation. --- #### Currency The Nation of Bluewinter uses the Bluewinter Dollar (BWD). It is equivalent to 1.12 GBP (Great British Pound). This changes constantly. --- #### Bluewinter Now The Nation is known for its fishing industry and brings in 12% of the countries GNI (Gross National Income). Bluewinter is one of the worlds biggest exporter of steel, which brings in 7% of the countries GNI. --- #### Bluewinter National Park The National Park has been preserved since 1893 because of its natural beauty. Tourism from the park alone brings in 4% of the countries GNI. Safe to say it is very popular to visit. ## Administration #### Membership & Whitelisting We have a unique membership and whitelisting system within The Bluewinter Project. Our game and group is whitelisted for a number of different reasons. This includes, but not limited to asset protection, quality assurance, community safety & liability. The membership system works like this. You will start out in the community at a standard level, you can progress this level if you meet a set criteria. It goes as follows: **Gold Membership:** This goes to users that stand out in the community and are held to a high standard. You can aquire this role by contributing significantly to the assets or growth of the community. Gold members have access to opportunities such as photographer and news reporter. **Silver Membership:** Silver Membership is given to those who are employed or achieved 24 hours total playtime. **Bronze Membership:** Bronze Members are the heart of the community. This is the standard starting role for most community members. --- #### Administration & Vetting In order to join this community, you will need to send a request (found in #verify) and wait for up to 24 hours for it to be processed. During this time, admissions officers and other members of administration will review your request and perform a background check on both your discord and ROBLOX account. You will need to consent to this in your entry request. --- #### Employment As a citizen, you have the right to employment (under the Human Rights Act). This means you are free to apply to any sector you wish and be employed if you meet the criteria and you are fit for purpose (reasons for denial are on a case-by-case basis). --- ## Misc Information #### Roles & Responsibilities of the Public Services **Bluewinter Parks Service:** The Parks Service is responsible for the conservation, preservation, protection and regulation of the recognised Areas of Natural Beauty within the Nation of Bluewinter. **Bluewinter National Police:** The National Police Service is responsible for upholding and protecting the constitution and laws that govern the state. **Bluewinter Fire & Rescue:** The Fire & Rescue Service is responsible for responding to emergencies where there is a risk to life or property. The Fire & Rescue service is also needed to uphold and protect the regulations for fire protection. Medical Response is also governed and managed by this service. --- #### Hunger System The hunger system is unique to ParkWARE. You will need to eat or drink consumables in order to survive. There are many places to purchase or request food and drink within the National Park and the municipalities. --- #### Photography Information Photography access is exclusive for gold members at this time.
