# ParkWARE: Complaints Policy

This document outlines how moderation complaints should be conducted and processed.
The rules in ParkWARE are pretty basic and there shouldn't be excessive amounts of reports. If someone is reporting someone for a minor offence, nothing more other than a chat would be required.
### How complaints are taken
All complaints from community members should be taken in a formal setting and by a command member who has no confict of interest with the incident. Some key information such as the following must be taken;
- What happened
- When it happened
- How it happened
- Where it happened
and from there you can figure out;
- Why it happened
- Who was involved
Any evidence such as screenshots, video or GIFs should also be collected, if there isn't any evidence you may question those involved, but there is a chance no action would be taken.
### Complaints against other players
All complaints against players should be investigated fully and to the best extent possible.
### Complaints against command
Complaints against command should be discussed between both command members and the reporting party privately to come to a resolution. However in some cases it may require a different method.

### Key Information
- Internal complaints should not be taken to 3rd parties or shared outside of the group unless specifically requested to do so.
- No comments or assumptions are to be made about any complaints in a public setting unless the investigation has been completed.
- Evidence may not be collected unfairly.
### External Concerns
Any player who approaches a command member from outside of ParkWARE about an individual who has whitelisted status should be listened to and investigated to the same extent as an internal complaint.
### Disclosure
Details of witnesses and the reporting party shall not be disclosed to anyone other than command by default. Exemptions to this may apply in certain cases.
### Blackmail
Anyone who claims they have or are currently being blackmailed by another player will be subject to an investigation. If it appears that blackmail is occuring, the player responsible will be removed with immediate affect.

### Final Comments
Common sense should be exercised with every case. Complaints under false pretenses or with malicious intent should be denied immediately.
