# ParkWARE: Group Staff Handbook ![](https://i.imgur.com/FaVbZIc.png) ### Document Details This document is intended to outline the basics of administration and be a first port of call for any issues that you may experience. *This document is exclusive for Group Staff and should not be shared with anyone outside of this.* --- ### Basic Policies #### Community Moderation Taking action on another player through formal means of punishment is always a last resort (unless they have committed a serious offence). 99.9% of your moderation duties will more than likely end in a discussion. Make sure the punishment fits the crime. --- #### "Moderation Patrolling" If you are caught "patrolling" or online as an "on duty moderator" I will personally fist you into the realm. Don't do it unless you want to meet a very pissed off Bork. --- #### Community Removals Community Removals should always be a last resort unless it is a serious offence. If you do have to conduct a community removal, make sure to ban the user from the discord and remove them from the ROBLOX group immediately and notify all moderation staff through proper means. --- #### Discord Offences Be relaxed and use your judgement when dealing with a discord offence. These should be assessed on a case-by-case basis and there is no blanket answer for this. Please just make sure the punishment fits the crime. --- ### Verification & Background Checks #### Admission & Verification You will deal with users wanting to join the community. Always be friendly and follow the admissions procedure, if a user asks for help, help them for god sake... --- #### Background Checks Once a user has submitted a whitelist request, you will review the request and make sure they have agreed to the rules and consented to a background check. If a user fails a background check, let them know in direct messages and not publically shame them, ensure you give them a reason behind the denial. --- #### Prejudice If you have any bias/ prejudice towards a user that is trying to join, let other Group Staff members know who and why. This may have an affect on their request. For example, if someone is known for toxicity, let other members of Group Staff know and we will have a discussion and investigate the claims further and make a decision on their application. --- ### Advertising & Partnerships #### Direct Messages Advertising Do not send advertisements or promotions of ParkWARE or any associated assets to anyone who did not request it. --- #### Partnerships All partnerships should be agreed by every member of Group Staff. All group partnerships or formal relationships should be known by regular group members (i.e putting this in a document or in #information). --- *Published 24/10/2021 Updated 24/10/2021* **Property of ParkWARE development and its contractors.**
