# Amsterdam Event Vision
Date: 23&24 April (Saturday & Sunday)
## Event title: OG Council
### format
Our aim is to create Council with a few session leaders that will help us lead sessions and encourage people to talk about the issues we are facing in the Ethereum Ecosystem.
Council is a big gathering of Ethereum enthusiasts with aim to discuss and solve issues we are facing in the Ethereum core ecosystem.
We are going to host 250 people over the period of two days with the aim to provide place for people to discuss issues on Ethereum.
We are going to do Council with voting process at the venue
Day 1 - Saturday will be focused on dApp layer EIPs and topic disccussions. NFT, DeFi related discussions are welcomed, we would like to look into standardisation of DeFi and NFT protocols.
Day 2 - Sunday will be focused on protocol layer EIPs and discussions. This day be can be used for community discussions with Core Devs and protocol researchers

Session leaders will be ready to facilitate discussion in different rooms with whiteboard available.

# Agenda of the day
Agenda will be very similar for both days
10am -10:30am - Council Ceremony Intro
- Introduction about Ethereum Magicians, intro about Council, run through agenda of the day
10:30am -11:30am - Council Kick off
- Topic proposal, topic voting
12-3pm - Group discussions
- Groups will divide into smaller groups with team leader and discuss topics, work on EIP and/or propose solution
*lunch break as needed*
4pm-5pm - Council Reunion
- Discuss problems that has been discussed in the smaller groups with wider audience
Optionally groups can regroup again and discuss & work together again
* The venue has no closing time so we can use it as long as we need - if session leaders would like to work on propoosal after 6pm
# What to look for
Developer sessions - Developer sessions with leaders discussing key development flaws, controversial topics, EIPs and ERCs, working groups solving development issues.
Curated community - we are trying to keep this event exclusive for community members that are actively participating in Ethereum development, contributed and collaborated on EIPs, participating in Ethereum Core development and governance. Yet we want to keep this event open for public to learn and participate in the ethereum community development
Safe Space - Place for developers, anon builders to discuss any controversial or non-controversial topic, build proposals, solve technical issues, work on existing EIPs and ERCs
# Venue
Pakhuis de Zwijger is a famous old warehouse and located at ‘IJ’, the main river crossing Amsterdam. Public transport is in front of the venue and it’s a 26 minutes walk and 7 minutes bike ride away from Devconnect’s co-working space in Beurs van Berlage.
Grote Zaal - This room will be used in the morning for Main ceremony
Foyer - This room will be used for lunch
