# Magicians in Amsterdam - All Info
Work title: Gathering of Eth Magicians
## Organiser details:
**When:** April 18-22 2022 - aiming for the beginning of the week, so far the dates are 23-24 (Saturday & Sunday) April
**Name of the Main event:** DevConnect
**The idea for collective of events:** A bunch of smaller events at one location. Events like Rolllup event by L2Beat, ETH Staker, DAOist, ETH Global hackathon...Open coworking space for hacking on ideas together.

## Magicians event & Venue details:
- Two day event - 24 & 25 April
- Host 250 people

## Venue details:
- **Total number of attendees**
*25 to 500 ppl max due to venue size limitations*
- 250
- **Number of rooms desired in venue**
*1 to 3 rooms max (if more rooms desired, we can try to accommodate)*
- 1 large room - for 3hr / to start each day with
- 3-4 rooms - for work sessions and discussions
- Hallway space or flex space - for impromptu meetings, and to put a board listing out what is going on
- **Size (people capacity) for each room**
- Room 1: 250, theater style
- Room 2: 25-50
- Room 3: 25-50
- Room 4: 25-50
- Note: more people will show up to the first session / gathering, then may drift around elsewhere later on

## Brief structure of the event:
- Working Groups and circles self organise discussions
- Non formal discussions with loose agenda
- More smaller rooms with fewer people in and discuss
- Every discussion circle needs scribe - note taker / live tweeting person

## Event Goal
The aim should be to solve coordination issues within Ethereum core, improve coordination within the groups in the ecosystem, build public goods mainly infrastructure based and discuss how we can improve infrastructure.

# Sessions Overview:
The idea is to gather problems, EIPs, ERCs and all material. Make it accessible and let people discuss about development problems. We are more opened towards doing something new and core protocol oriented so it makes more sense for us focus on problems and EIPs rather than user level ideas like UX, wallets, business ring.

- Historical data and expiry - EIP-4444
- Rollup-centric roadmap and related needs
- NFTs:
- Metadata issues
- What's new in NFT ERC ecosystem
- Coordination:
- EIP Process - how it looks like, how we can improve this process...
- Get more participation in ERC process

More to be proposed by the community after gathering feedback

We will collaborate on this event with Stateless client and Ethereum Cat Herders.
