# Devcon session ideas Session title: Ethereum Firebowl sessions (working draft name) Organisers: Anett Rolikova anette.rolikova@gmail.com Yoriko Beal yorikobeal@gmail.com ## Abstract Ethereum Magicians would love to bring EIPs to Devcon! Host fishbowl discussion circles about EIPs. Ideating on the future of Ethereum concepts, how to improve Ethereum, what standards (EIPs) we should focus on. We will collaborate with Ethereum Cat Herders, EIP Editors in order to bring the magic to Devcon again! We will be hosting dApplication layer EIP sessions as well as future of Ethereum sessions related to Ethereum Proof of Stake. We would love to bring together developer community, do more awareness around EIP ecosystem. Sessions will be focused on EIPs, Future of Ethereum, Ethereum Core Protocol Governace Potential speakers: Ethereum Magicians Community members, AllCoreDevs, EIP Editors # Sessions **Intro into EIPs - Ethereum Magicians welcome & introduction** - What are EIPs - Standardization flow - How Ethereum Magicians are helping community with EIP feedback **Funding of protocol operations - Magicians & Ethereum Cat Herders** - Discussion on funding core protocol operations **Governing the conduct** - EIP Editors Fishbowl **Ethereum PoS** Fishbowl moderated by Tim Beiko Focused to The Merge and the future upgrades - what has changed with PoS - impact of PoS on the network - protocol changes and updates - impact on dApps & more TBA ---- ## Venue requirement: - Room for approximate 200 people with chairs - A few microphones like 3-5 max - Recording setup - Presenting screen - not required but nice to have ## Room setup: Fishbowl, similar to Devcon 5.
