# EIP DAO Proposal
The idea is to create a DAO which will improve Ethereum Core protocol and it's improvement flow. Focusing on standardization in the ecosystem, decentralising governance processes around EIPs and ERCs.

Improve standardization process on Ethereum. I would really love to see all core devs as DAO and Ethereum core being managed by DAO not ACD and Ethereum Cat Herders as representative groups

Why?
The current flow of accepting new EIPs and ERCs is broken. All Core Devs are slammed with work which makes accepting new EIPs and ERCs super complicated.
There is not really a way how new EIPs and ERCs can get implemented. EIPs and ERCs are being discussed on AllCoreDevs calls, unfortunately these calls became focused discussing EIPs and decision making of core protocol upgrades.
The idea behind this DAO is to rework the process of EIPs and mainly focus on ERCs - how they’re being implemented, improve and open the governance process.

EIP DAO / ERC DAO
Improve ERCs, separate ERCs from EIPs.
ERC = Technical documentation of how something work (explains solidity functions,
EIP = Core protocol layer improvement

ERC DAO
- get more people involved
- open the process
- standardize how tx get send, how token get send... basic solidity function

Work:
- Improve EIP flow process - how EIPs will be accepted,
- Decentralize governance - open governance where anyone can vote on proposals using DAO tools like Tally and Snapshot
