# Regular Meeting (2022.7.25)
* Zybo-z7
* CDCFE Fanout Baord
## 1 Zybo-Z7
Assemble initramfs
## 2 CDCFE Fanout Baord
### 2.1 Schedule:
1. ~~Booking BOM (~2 weeks DT)~~ -> *Some component I haven't received*
* ~~Layout completed within 2 weeks~~ -> *Somewhere I'like to discuss with you* (in the following chapter)
2. ~~Print 1:1 board, put booked compoent on board (Jenny's suggestion)~~ (ok)
2.5 Maybe verify each IC with SMD-DIP board
3. Delivered for manufacturing (~1 weeks)
4. Soldering
### 2.2 Design:
|Last week|This week|
|--|--|
| | |
### 2.3 Last week we discussed about cable
>* Wire (fanout to prototype or fanout to scope)~10 pcs, 2
>>* SMA(female) to u.fl(male)
>>* u.fl(male) to u.fl(male)
>>
* Replace above mentioned with **Test Point PAD**
* Refer to [Test Points in High-Speed PCB Design](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzADUgKH_cE&ab_channel=AltiumAcademy)
* 8\*SMA connector, which path are awful
* Risk:
* Additional layout pad may cause additional signal attenuation(*distortion*)
* Probe to scope
* Our *new* probe R/F time < 1ns
* Old func-240MHZ-gen: R/F time = 4.5 ns (1Vpp)
* New func-250MHZ-gen: R/F time = 2 ns (<5Vpp)
* Benefit:
* Just buy only u.fl to u.fl cable
* Fanout board to CDCFE-Prototype(load, R/C)
### 2.4 Resistor layout of OPA2674
In the datasheet of [OPA2674](https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/opa2674.pdf), layout guide mentioned:
> Other network components, such as noninverting input
termination resistors, should also be placed close to the
package. Where double-side component mounting is allowed, **place the feedback resistor directly under the package on the other side of the board between the output and inverting input pins**.
* 0402 resistor is good to fit layout
