# Project Idea: SHIPSOON.Ai – The First Autonomous Grant Protocol on SOON Mainnet
### Project Authored By

## Summary
SHIPSOON.Ai is the first **autonomous grant protocol** deployed on SOON Mainnet. It’s an onchain AI-powered system that curates, distributes, and enforces ecosystem funding using a community-driven, stake-based mechanism. Developers who wish to receive a grant from the ecosystem must stake $SOON tokens to be considered. If they deliver, they are rewarded. If they fail, they are slashed.
This infrastructure can later be offered as a white-label product for other L1/L2 ecosystems under names like `$SHIPETH`, `$SHIPBNB`, etc.
---
## Core Mechanism: Autonomous Grants via $SOON Staking
### 1. **Developer Application + Stake**
- Dev teams apply for a grant via a streamlined onchain portal.
- Each applicant must stake a set amount of $SOON to activate their application.
### 2. **Council Review & Staking Phase**
- A Grants Council (a multisig or DAO committee) reviews each proposal.
- If **approved**, the project enters the next public staking round.
- If **rejected**, the team’s $SOON stake is **returned in full**.
- Approved projects then become eligible for **community curation**.
### 3. **Community Curation via Staking**
- $SOON holders stake their tokens on vetted projects they want to see funded.
- Staking period lasts **7 days**.
- Top curated projects receive **onchain AI-distributed grants** at the end of the round.
- New rounds begin every **10 days**.
### 4. **Delivery & Slashing Enforcement**
- Funded projects have a defined milestone/timeline.
- If a project **delivers**, they keep the full grant and their original stake.
- If a project **fails to deliver**, a portion (or all) of their original stake is **slashed** and returned to the SOON grant pool.

## Technical Infrastructure
### AI-Driven Grant Allocation
- AI agent tracks staking signal & community curation to calculate and finalize grant allocation.
- Rewards curators that vote on winning grant applications by distributing $SHIP.
- AI Agent distributes $SHIP to winning grant recipients in a escrow contract
### Liquidity Bootstrapping
- Initial $SHIP liquidity can be bootstrapped via models like:
- **Pump.fun**
- **DAOsdotfun**
- Once the funding target is reached, the AI agent deploys liquidity to a **community-voted exchange**.
- $SHIP token is launched with a bonding curve, which stores reserve assets like $SOL and $SOON to endsure fundamental stability in token price and longevity in project
- 69% of $SHIP token supply is locked in a smart contract wallet managed by Ship.Ai as the "eco fund"
- 20% is deployed as liquidty to the community-voted exchange
- 11% is reserved for bot ops
### Fee Model
- A portion of staking and slashing activity is routed to infrastructure providers to ensure protocol sustainability.

## Why should we build this?
Ship.Ai is the first truly autonomous and trust-minimized funding mechanism for ecosystems. Built natively on SOON, it:
1. **Democratizes Ecosystem Funding** – Any team can apply, stake, and get curated without insider access.
2. **Adds Skin in the Game** – Applicants must stake to apply, incentivizing seriousness and accountability.
3. **Eliminates Manual Bottlenecks** – AI agent handles allocation logic, freeing up human capital.
4. **Curates Quality** – Token holders and a grants council ensure only high-quality projects get through.
5. **Creates Modular Public Good Infra** – Once proven, it can be replicated across other chains as a white-label agent.
---
## Anything else you'd like to add?
This isn't just a grant tool—it’s a **battle-tested public goods flywheel**. Starting with SOON, this framework can be deployed across dozens of ecosystems to decentralize and automate ecosystem funding.

## Skills Needed
- **Design** – Clean UX for grant application, staking dashboard, slashing/execution logic.
- **Content** – Launch comms, developer onboarding docs, grant program guide.
- **Full Stack Dev** –
- Smart contract logic (staking, slashing, AI agent interaction)
- Frontend grant/staking dashboard
- Integration with SOON bridge infra and ecosystem APIs

## Cost (in USD)
**$20,000 – TBD**
