## Flashbots (FBs) Qs
* General:
* Organization FBs: how many people work on product <> research? Overall structure?
* 13 in product (4 product, 9 devs)
* 6 in research
* 6 in ops
* Currently:
* What is the user onboarding process? How strategic/neutral are you?
* Miners: they fill up a form and we send an onboarding package to the ones approved and setup a support channel on discord. We have not onboarded new miners in 6+ months
* Searchers: they read documentation and start using the RPC from there. If they need support, they ask on discord and community provides answers. Flashbots doesn't really have a way to discuss with them.
* Wallets and Dapps: very chaotic, there is some information on documentation various team members have ad-hock relationships to help integrations.
* RPC Users: documentation, might be community resources we haven't produced
* What is the user feedback process? What form of interaction do you have with your current ecosystem / users? (FBs working group? Discord?)
* Discord community public channels which are not really monitored but is where majority of community hangsout
* Lots of monitoring of twitter by various members
* Github issues for feature requests and bug fixes
* Group chats with various VIP teams where they can ask the team any questions
* No structured approach to feedback
* Working group for relationships and discussion on POS ethereum and mev-boost
* How do users currently distribute proceeds using Flashbots products? Is that being captured?
* Flashbots does not take revenues at this time, users pay miners for inclusion of their transactions acording to the flashbots auction.
* What is a “success measure” for you? (hashrate /MEV distribution / $$ in MEV protection?)
* hashrate, # of bundles, % of blocks, value of blocks, % of transactions
* Who are current relayers that receive bundles from searchers?
* flashbots, eden, bloxroute, manifold
* Going forward:
* From what I understood you want to productize FBs research more. What is FBs' business model? Or not a focus right now/ever?
* Research helps answer long range questions about MEV. Big challenge with monetization is avoiding becoming the "moloch". Likely there will be some kind of marketplace fees or active participation on the system in the future but no immediate plans.
* Focus will be MEV boost / decentralized block building? What is the roll-out plan?
* mev-boost is on testnet & priority is now supporting adoption efforts
* decentralized block building is at research / early spec
* What’s your strategy for L2 MEV/cross-chain MEV? Is the goal to have a cross chain standard?
* We want to bring decentralized block building to every chain in a way which maximizes user choice
* How closely do you work with EF and other L1 foundations?
* Work very closely with EF right now
* Have weak relationships with other L1s and don't actively work with them at the moment
