I'm Azortharion, I'm a Hunter Guidewriter/Creator/Sometimes TC Guy. I play in Pescorus, the most efficient 2-day Hall of Fame guild in the world. # Sim Changes
- Significant MM APL improvements, particularly DR ST and some implementation fixes for ES Talents.
- BM and SV are pretty static, no recent changes or developments.
- These sims are NOT taking into account the 50%

# Raiding/Single-Target (iLvl 723, New 4PC)
*Note that the 2PC/2PC and S2 4PC numbers are using 684 old tier gear, but 723 BiS stuff in every other slot. So, this is not very useful for "when should I replace tier", it just gives a decent idea of spec balance at certain levels of tier.*

## Single-Target
- MM tops and is the default Raiding spec. Strong 90s damage profile and mega execute. The massive RNG swings (8.8% std.dev up from 6.2% in S2) suck but average performance >> all.
- BM lags behind and has no burst or execute or basically anything other than flat damage. Even NoMulti is nothing special compared to MM in terms of Raid AoE/ST Efficiency.
- SV strong ST, downright bad at everything else.
- At these numbers, I am maining MM this Raid.

# Mythic+
## 8T AoE

- Very closely matched between MM and BM on 8T. On higher target counts, BM will get ahead, and on lower target counts, MM will be ahead.
## Efficiency/Overall M+ Performance
*Average of ST and 8T Performance. Prio damage also visible but not included in Efficiency%. My baseline metric for "how good is something for pushing keys".*
- BM and MM are outrageously close. I think it will be a dungeon/comp-dependent thing.
## BM/MM Things To Think About
- BM scales far better into uncapped.
- MM does better on lower target counts.
- MM AoE Burst peaks at 12s, BM peaks at 27s when many things are dead (unless you have a Bear ready, then it peaks much sooner).
- BM is *high-effort*, Barbed Multidotting is mandatory, it's very fast-paced, arguably harder to maximize than MM.
- I think that MM will be better for most people until relatively high keys. BM will be more of a "hardcore" spec for very high, very large-pull, very coordinated and high-density keys. MM is a very "safe" generic bet.
- Definitely playing MM early season myself and then we'll see if things swing towards BM later.
## MM Specifics
- DR has vastly more ST, a bit more prio, and similar AoE to Sentinel. They peak at roughly the same time, though Dark Ranger is 90s and Sentinel is 120s CD.
## SV Specifics
- It's rough, not gonna lie. Flanking is more efficient by a few % but.. It's hard to imagine that SV will do high enough keys where a few % of efficiency is such a big difference idk.
# Was I Sandbagging?
- No, the sims were just not up to snuff. I take this stuff pretty seriously and the idea I would lie about something like that is just really gross to me. To 99% of people, WoW is just a game and the stakes are pretty low but to me, it's my job/career and so I take it very seriously for better or worse. This means I do not lie or sandbag or any of that. I just got it wrong (which I will learn from!), that's the last I have to say on that topic.
# S3 Hunter UI
### Updated UI without ElvUI for S3. Much higher performance, much better nameplates.
