## Marksmanship is Bugged

### The Bug
- Precise Shots spells queued after an Aimed Shot do not get the Precise Shots damage bonus because they fire too soon. Precise Shots disappears and you get Moving Target, but the damage done and Focus cost of the spender is unbuffed.
- This is a problem outside of Trueshot when we have a Black Arrow before the Aimed begins, encouraging us to Aimed > Black Arrow.
- It is not an issue otherwise, as we are meant to follow up Aimeds with Steadies outside of Trueshot anyway.
- It is not an issue during Trueshot because Trueshot inherently reduces Aimed Shot's cast time below the GCD, preventing this direct queueing behaviour.
### How To Reproduce (for Blizzard & QA)
- Fire a Precise Shots spender like Arcane Shot without Precise Shots, and note its damage.
- Cast an Aimed Shot and queue the Arcane Shot after the AĆmed Shot.
- Outcome: Precise Shots is removed, Moving Target is applied, but once you compare your PS-Arcane's damage to the initial one fired, it will be the same. Precise Shots' damage bonus did not work.
### What To Do About It (for players)
- **Single-Target:** Swapping the "Focused Aim" talent to "Improved Streamline" reduces the cast time of Aimed Shot below the GCD. This ensures that Arcane/Black Arrow never get queued immediately after an Aimed (they are queued on the GCD ending instead), fixing the issue. This is about DPS neutral on paper, but also enables more movement and likely higher practical DPS as a result, so it's an elegant and simple solution.
- **Other Situations:** Improved Streamline is very weak in AoE/Cleave Situations, eliminating that solution. There currently is no elegant solution other than ensuring you never queue a Black Arrow/Multi-Shot/Arcane Shot directly after an Aimed even when this would normally be part of your rotation. You can either fill in with a Steady as you normally would, or you can deliberately AFK for a split-second between the casts.
I will update this the moment it is 99% confirmed to have been fixed, so please do not DM or ping me with "is MM still bugged?"", just check this document.
