# YFI Safe Farming Committee - Voting Procedure

## Voting Procedure
**Vote options:**
- ✅ READY - strategy is safe and viable
- 🚫 NOT-READY - concerns about risk or viability
- 🙅‍♂️ ABSTAIN - unable to research, conflict of interest, etc

## Voting Round 1
Reviewers given 24hrs to vote. Quorum is 50% of voting body (Telegram group size).

**Goals:**
- Seek 100% consensus among voters
- Expose any concerns for further discussion

**Outcomes:**
- If `100%` "READY" votes
- strategy is good to be developed with no further consideration required
- If `<100%` "READY" votes:
- Concerns must be cleary stated, and relayed to the strategist for remediation if possible
- After strategist agrees to remediation, a 2nd round of voting may proceed
- If no remediation is possible, strategy idea should be discarded

## Voting Round 2
Reviewers given 24hrs to vote. Quorum is 50% of voting body (Telegram group size).

**Goals:**
Final vote seeking rough consensus. Allows voters to consider new information.

**Outcomes:**
- If `100%` "READY" votes
- strategy is good to be developed with no further consideration required
- If `<100%` "READY" votes:
- strategy shall no longer be considered at this time
