## About Me

My name is Andrew Hedberg, I am 18 years old, and I am a student at Northeastern University majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

I live in a small beach town in Old Lyme, Connecticut. A fun fact about Old Lyme is that Lyme disease is named after the town because that's where Lyme disease was first officially discovered. There is also a conspiracy theory that Lyme disease was created in a biological lab on an island called Plum island which is right off the coast of Northern Massachusetts. This conspiracy theory was created because before 1975 there was little to no evidence of Lyme disease and its presence in ticks.

In my free time I enjoy playing golf, having fun at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Below is a picture of my dog Amelia at the beach! She is a golden retriever and she just turned 1 year old.
